If we needed a draw I'd kinda get it. It's as good as done. But a draw -even two draws - are more or less useless due to a quirk of the points and goal difference. This thread is poor poor taste

Elephant Man. He's basically our own peaky blinder. Cloth cap, mask, brown cape and ideally a walking cane.. Tribute to Leicester's finest

Exactly this. It's not a revenue generator. It's a control thing.

Southampton (H) - Tue 23/04/24 - 20:00 KO

Walker peters and that french winger will skin us alive down our left if the manager persists with Faes or Doyle at LCB. On the basis the manager will not change, which as we all know he will not, I'd go; Ricky to be play the inverted role but at left. Hamza to play the Wilf role,.but deeper protecting the right. JJ to play ahead of,.I'm.afraid,.Coady as Faes simply won't be dropped. JJ right with Hamza and Faes left with Ricky. Daka up front for his press -

VAR in the championship next season?????
Paninistickers replied to hackneyfox's topic in Leicester City Forum
But there rules are there to mitigate this. Offsides have always had a benefit of doubt. As a.kid, the defensive team had the benefit but there was a rule change,.in, at a guess, the 90s that changed the benefit of doubt to the attacker. Meaning the 'goal' yesterday would've correctly stood had it have been gjven -
VAR in the championship next season?????
Paninistickers replied to hackneyfox's topic in Leicester City Forum
I prefer it. I prefer an honest bad refereeing decision (including the Leeds and Ipswich debacles) to VAR pawing over fractional decisions. VAR robbed football of one of its iconic moments yesterday over a decision in millimetres. Nothing is worth that.- 30 replies

Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement

It's a great post. And yet another example of logic defying business insanity that pervades down there. It's almost like a competition to see who can come up with the most numbskull idea -
Leicestershire County Cricket Club

As per, the hideous Agnew will be frothing out of his undernourished horse head that April starts wouldn't be needed if Derby Northants and County weren't around. -
Stop the LCFC Loyalty Tax - UFS statement

I've not thought this comment through tbh, but is there an argument for EVERYONE to BUY a card and stump up the £25, on the basis it's clearly something the club don't want us to do? I can imagine the club having eggs at the thought of 22k cards each week actually ending up in the hands of (in the club's view) unvetted undesirables -
I can't lose with Tigers. If they win I'm pleased. If they lose it's funny.

Not sure it's greed. It's about control. As others have said, whatever this crackpot administration wants, the opposite is probably right. I'll pay. And as the poster says above, it's us who's the mug punter.

£75 extra if you have have any measurable level of testosterone and/or a functioning prostate -
Sort of. The rules,.up until VAR anyway,.allowed for an element of doubt. And where there was, the officials are licensed to favour the attacker. In that respect, if that law is still in existence, the goal was incorrectly disallowed

Tigers lost too 👍

Would take that

I may have posted something along these lines before, but people who do marathons and 10ks and the times they run and add in those sorts who are rowing the Atlantic or climbing Kilimanjaros or that dude who ran Africa recently. Endurance shite. Oh add that awful Jodie Foster film recently on netflix about some elderly Doris who swam from Cuba to Florida. I couldn't be less interested. I'm pleased for them that they like it. But it's tremendously uninteresting. And I say that as a guy who enjoys a jog.

10 seasons in the last 50. So, what, 20% of the last 50 seasons they've been a third tier club. Seems a lot to me for half a century. And probably will be yet again next season.

Regular third tier side. Always have been. And Sheffield Wednesday.

West Brom (H) 2-1 Post-Match Thread

Btw, any mentions so far for Mikey Johnston for them? He was fantastic. Never heard.of him but got EFL player of the month in March, so today clearly wasn't a one off. -
Predictable but sickening. I was pleasantly surprised by how few booked. Maybe 5-10%. But audible nevertheless. He's a nice lad. We need the players to get us over the line. Total morons
-
Thanks to this insane crazy system. He's being asked to play two positions ffs, it's inevitable he'll get caught. As does Ricardo fwiw
-
At championship level, he's a real asset, a real bonus of a.midfielder to break up play, cover attacking full backs and make lung busting recovery runs, Kyle walker style, to bail us out
-
Full backs work for 99.9% of teams. And we were relegated by the manager refusing to play a goalkeeper last season, not because we played full.backs.
