  1. It's been rumbled. It would've been rumbled much earlier had teams not paid us as much respect as they did. One simple,.routine loss of possession in midfield (which can happen to anyone) when we are on the ball in this absurd and the 'full back' is horribly stranded and left to make a desperate recovery run. Meanwhile on the other side, we have Fatawu pinned back helping out at left back half the time as Faes is being skinned alive. The system is absolutely tosh. Total garbage
  2. He's being asked to do an impossible job. If we flip the positions, it's like asking a striker to play winger too, and then complaining he's not on the end of the cross. Hamza was outstanding. The manager failed to utilise him correctly
  3. And some people like being bummed.
  4. Don't expect to win every game. But I do expect full backs. Not Faes at some kinda weird LB role and Hamza asked to play TWO positions and a net effect of being bummed bareback literally all game on both flanks. It was a DP of bummings.
  5. Absolutely this. It was managerially the worst of the season. We were all over the shop at the back. Faes marooned on the left. Hamza left totally exposed and asked to do two jobs (which he did brilliantly). Ripped open time and again Players blowing out their arse with legs and talent sitting under til 82mins We won in spite of the manager thanks to effort, individual skill and the crowd.
  6. It was an absolute shocker from the manager today. I'm buzzing,.I'm relieved, I'm gonna have a great weekend. But make no mistake that was.managerial ineptitude if the highest order. The bizarre planting of Faes on the touchline. And (the outstanding) Hamza hung out to dry and forced into entirely understandable errors down to this wretched system
  7. I get the impression a lot of people want her to fail and blame her outside endorsements. To my untrained tennis eye, she looks a very very capable top 10-20 player (based on that her game seems light years ahead of Katie Boulter, who herself is decent ranked at 30)
  8. Nice idea and completely logical. But the type of supporter likely to join in with this is the sort of supporter pathologically despised by the club.
  9. We need a pumped crowd. Everton fans at this point every season take over from their players and manager and win safety for themselves. We want a similar mindset these next three home games. Let's take this out of the manager's hands, who seems incapable of navigating a promotion race, and roar the players on to higher tempo, blood and guts wins
  10. From what little I know, and it isn't much, there were multiple RL staff who didn't like him. But it has to be one who draws the dagger. The charge sheet does seem weak tho. Maybe he was sacked on trumped on charges but not for the trumped up charges?
  11. I'm open to suggestions tbh. Literally have zero agenda. Bearing in mind it's winter, I've loosely thought maybe hiking / whale watching / Robben Island for day trips and drinks/meals at night and maybe an Airbnb experience type thing for a bar hop / walking food tour at night
  12. 5 days, whistlestop. I try to exhaust my annual leave to to the nth degree. It's one of the pleasures of my working day!
  13. This is one of the funniest lines on the entire site, let alone the thread
  14. I don't think the club staff are incompetent. I think the middle management there are unwell. Pathetic, feeble, frightened, submissive individuals.
  15. Well I see your logic I guess. Just disagree with the conclusion. Hasn't Kels always carried a bit of a slightly-in -his-own-world kinda vibe? If I had to back one player to score us a half chance,.I'd go for Kels above any other player, Inc Vards.
  16. I mean, pal, think this through. He's got 25 or whatever goal contributions this season. Has won us games on his own. And you want to DROP him when we need a win the most? Sometimes, really.... Edit to add, it's the hardest running player we have too. He's still got energy to burn when everyone else is blowing
  17. I dont know where this comes from. I've hardly seen him this season to decide one way or the other if he's in the beach. If we actually use evidence, as opposed to gut feel, he got a few mins at Bristol and had a delicious dink ruled out for a very narrow offside and then at Millwall, he had our only chance in his 5 mins and only a superb goal line clearance stopped him scoring.
  18. Amazing innit? Sometimes I read posters' team selections and they've picked Nelson or Alves or Cannon and it's just like, wtf do these people think? There's a lack of cognitive thinking. We need promotion and a couple of wins to get it. Just go for the most obvious. Don't overthink nor over masturbate over theoretical saviours such as Tete or Casadei or, now, Cannon..
  19. Booked Cape Town. Long time on the to do list In June, so obvs winter down there. But I'm told still plenty to do and hotels/restaurants have cheaper deals
  20. Two things. First there's absolutely zero evidence to support that. It's a lazy assumption. Second, let's assume it's true, if he goes one on one or has a penalty, would you back a player that's fairly relaxed and ambivalent? Or back a player shitting it with nerves?
  21. The one thing Foxes talk can be relied upon is to think players we have barely (or even never) seen will save us. The clamour for Cannon is a great example. Most of us have seen the lad on the pitch for two hours max, where he seems to have a good shot on him but painfully slow. Everything else is just guessing. Get me Kels on that pitch anytime. He has faults but a game changing killer pass or turn or finish out of nowhere are all proven .....time and time and time again.
  22. Except Iran clearly don't want a war - as illustrated by this laughable 'attack'. The US clearly don't want escalation and have said so. Russia shat the bed when that rocket landed in Poland and, guess what, the Yanks investigation took all of 15 mins to declare the missile as rogue Ukrainian and de-escalate the situation. These things are largely being done for domestic.politics.
  23. Not a small chance. That's exactly what has happened.
  24. Ipswich 7 takes them to 96 Leeds 9 (or 6, v saints) takes them to 93 or 96 Saints 15 (or 12 if lose to Leeds) 96 or 93 So, we need three wins. Tho two and a rare draw (v saints) would give us a fighting chance
