  1. No Mavididi. That's bad bad news. And I'm not a fan of McAteer. However, delighted to see Doyle dropped....
  2. First time I saw them was relatively late, when they played Watford away. I was staggered at their unremarkability.. At the time they had - were it not for us - the most points garnered EVER in the championship. More than elite runaway champions of the past; Fulham, Reading, Newcastle, Us, Wolves, Sunderland. Yet they were absolutely rank, basic, ordinary championship nothingness.
  3. Agree on the passing, tho I'm not even sure Doyle's is all it's cracked up to be. He gives it away multiple times per game, often in dangerous areas. Nelson is bigger, stronger, quicker, better defensively and our own asset. I'd say there's very little between Souttar and Doyle's passing, sort from the right foot / left foot advantage.. Souttar tho with his height gives him a huge advantage over Doyle, who's been done in the air from the get go (think of Huddersfield away - the signs were there)
  4. Tbf it only needs 8 or 9 punters in to make it packed
  5. Wout play the Vesty role. Coady and JJ alongside. Doyle I wouldn't have anywhere near - Nelson and Souttar both are ahead of him plus he's a loanee. I just don't like loanees, unless they improve a team massively. But, it seems now the similarly sub par Casadei has gone, Enzo seems to have a design fault in needing a sub par loanee in the xi. I fully expect Doyle to play
  6. Mate, I'm like you total tech dunderhead. Get yourself a newer firestick I guess for 30 quid and someone on here more tech savvy than me will give you a link to a provider then you just do a step by step thing of downloading an app onto the firestick.
  7. Indeed. I was slow to the game. But it's life changing. In the unlikely event I ever do a Sunday newspaper magazine fluff piece a la Gregg Wallace and was asked 'best purchase or investment', answer is 'dodgy firestick with all the sport on'
  8. Never really rated Coady but 100% I'd select him tomorrow. It's what he's here for. Business end of season, slightly awkward away game. Pressure. His brief will be fur the team to implement the plan. However, I'd play Wout in the middle in the vesty role. Coady at right. JJ at left. In fact I'm miles more worried that Doyle plays. I just saw a clip of the Southampton game on another thread and it highlighted another ghastly error from him leading to a goal. Doyle's by miles our weak link
  9. My take when teams get to the business end under pressure is a) it helps to simply be the best and/or b) to be able to rely on a very specific, robotic tactical set up drilled in. We probably have both. Southampton probably have both. Ipswich have the belief in their system. Leeds play blood and guts on ability. On that basis, I'd expect us and saints to emerge by some distance in the end.
  10. Yeah, I'm wondering if it's it. That will be an absolute bummer
  11. I've logged online at HMRC, apparently the T at the end denotes that the code is undecided. I've put in my (realistic) projected income for the next financial year and hopefully that will remedy it. But from what I can see, I haven't any underpayments or perks that warrant a change from a standard tax code. Unless it's something to do with child benefit?
  12. Not quite investments, but any reason my tax code may have plumbed to 729 instead of the normal 1257? I've checked my ytd tax against an online tax calculator and, if anything, I've paid too much this tax year (unless the next two pay packets correct themselves) ...so my code shouldn't be adjusted for any underpayment
  13. Totally underrated. Absolute filth. Unusual bondage scene too, with a male and female Dom/domme whipping her. You don't see that in a light-hearted U certificate film very often!
  14. Funnily enough, it's worth a thread on its own. Trump is possibly the best leader the US could have, despite his narcissism and borderline insanity. He's unpredictable, he's superb at flattery and intuitively understands what makes most problematic world leaders tick; power and money.
  15. tbh they should actually aim for my age group, the 43-55. No more BBQ duty, cleaning the hot tub and running the line at junior football. We'd love a bit. One last hurrah!
  16. I think we all might underestimate how physically strong Vestergaard is to play that role. Numerous occasions each game, he makes what ordinarily be a risky move but he has the strength to hold off the opponent and move past. Vesty's role is really really specialised.
  17. I think Dennis Coates also of Central had a spell covering us too.
  18. Sometimes it ain't about the price. I just fancied a Saturday off. I guess lots of STs felt the same
  19. Was never quite sold on him. In fairness, For 19 years of age, he's way ahead of par. But,.more or less, from day 1 I thought JJ offers us more all round. And so it's proved. Ben Nelson looked head and shoulders ahead of him today too.
  20. It's not quite working out for him, or us, is it?
  21. Bit of a Phil foden vibe. Like Foden, he's probably got two 16 year old kids and a 28 year old mam.
  22. What a stupid take.. Firstly, City largely refused to advertise the general sale. Second, if you've been blocking and telling potential fans to fck off for years, people are conditioned not to look
  23. What channels this on overseas?
