Funny, I liked the swans commentary. Biased but read the game well, and were amusing at times. Animal Yoga! 😂😂 Trundle wasn't scared to lay into the substitutions of his manager. Plenty of off mic cmons and oh nos too.

Think this lad has got some potential, but not as a winger. The analysts will have a field day for not committing to the square ball from Vardy....but learning curve and all that. Something about him I like. Dare I say a little touch of Madders about him
-
Kasper was always more than the sum of his parts. A 7/10 keeper who performed at a 9/10 level for large parts of 2016 - 2019 Edit, whereas this lad looks an 8/10 keeper. I think he's outstanding.

....won't finish within 30 points of us by the end of the season. And I'd be surprised if Ipswich are within 20. Only Leeds might get within pissing range

What it's like to train for Leicester City
Paninistickers replied to Oshhhh's topic in Leicester City Forum
Dunno why people get snooty about YouTubers. If somebody wanted to be a broadcaster back in the day, they had to rim BBC or ITV officials, have an agent, travel to London, dance/sing etc etc ....all in the hope they got selected to present cartoons on citv. Now, you just put yourself out there and let the public decide. It's democratic. And vastly preferable to the 80s- 22 replies

I've listened to five live the last couple of mornings and I got the impression they bend over backwards to be even handed in its coverage and terminology.
-
Yes, I do - but with less success than they'd have in influencing, say, al jazeera. Israeli groups would have far more effect in the US / West than Palestinian campaigners
-
I'll take this on. The inverted commas not my best bit of grammar...but intended to highlight the employer of the academic being quoted is from Israel's staunchest (only) ally in a uni sponsored by one of the very wealthiest and connected families in the US. It ain't a source that can be entirely taken as perfect, whether you like that or not. I didn't use the word bully. I used lobby. You're as smart as they come in here, but you'd be naïve not to believe that freinds of Israel would not campaign strongly on their behalf. Having a critical mind is not anti semetic. Fwiw, I take everything Palestinian sympathisers say with a huge pinch of salt too.
-
Not sure if you're agreeing with me or challenging - but I agree. I'm not having a pop at the BBC here. The Jewish lobby may well have dug up this Vanderbilt guy but the BBC have been open in this case that other experts aren't so sure. I think that drums home the point that Israelis are very choosy with what video / audio / satellite imagery they come up with ... undoubtedly aided by the US in doing that
-
I didn't offer a view on the bombing. Almost impossible for an armchair punter to tell fact from fiction. But I'd gamble the mortgage on UK Jewish and Israeli lobbyists sending shitloads of selected evidence to the bbc and other mainstream media
-
Just have to counter that the BBC will be being lobbied hard by Jewish groups to provide balance and throw some shade on it all. They'll be shovelling selected experts, evidence and covert surveillance at the beeb. Imo, an American expert from the 'vanderbilt university' doesn't exactly smack of an independent view

Viktor Kristiansen joins Bologna on loan
Paninistickers replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'd make it a contractual condition in any loan deal with (supposed) options to buy that the price goes up by a million every time they attempt to renegotiate. Either way, we ain't getting any money so we may as well have some fun with the tigtarrse cnts -
Great post. Worth a bump. I don't like the anti FT vibe that comes on here. The people there have the gumption to devote themselves to this, often at great ridicule. But, the sad fact is, the type of person who does this (and I'm guessing the same vibe that sits on Parent Teacher Associations, parish councils and cricket club committees) are - basically - a certain type of person that is perhaps rather too nice, too placid and too compliant. More bothered about electing a speaker and note taking and seconding motions than actually offering a robust challenge and counter view.

Vincent Kompany disproved that theory in his master's dissertation. The money spinner in football are the broadcast rights. The crowds are an integral part to creating that broadcast value. Cheaper tickets = more fans = less sanitised = more atmosphere City appear to have taken a business decision to concentrate on holding what they have. 35k who more or less,.turn up out of habit. I include myself in that. It's an incorrect business decision . City should actively pursue involving more people outside of their core
-
Absolutely correct. Nominal fee is a fiver. Maybe all supporters, even STs and permanently non attending, could be encouraged to be a 'card carrying member'....a thoughtful club could even attribute a token 1 share for the membership, just so we could all say we part own the club. Membership could/should include access to fixes hub too. Yup yup, I'm not business naive. It'd affect revenues for sure. But City are currently on a mission to extract and control 35000 people as much as they can. A cheaper,.more inclusive plan could potentially involve 70000 people and longer term l, that has much more revenue potential (not least it adds to the club valuation)

Viktor Kristiansen joins Bologna on loan

Yes, he meant that. But i recall a poster saying that maybe the role wasnt sold to him well enough. A manager can't always expect blind faith. They have to be skilled salespeople too. Edit, it's a shame. His energy at lcb in the season so far would've been great. His loss. Ours too. Od like to think we could try to reintegrate the lad next summer -
Nah mate. There's all but about 8 clubs he'd jump ship for in the PL. And all of those are extremely unlikely to appoint him on the basis of half a season. The eventual threat if he continues may well come from a major club on the continent
-
Totally agree. I'm a big fan of him. And that little extra edge he has is needed. They can't all be nice lads on the pitch.
-
Somebody made a point start if season that - and I remember the phrase - we needed to come out swinging. I liked the point and it was correct. A good start would mean teams start to write off our games, and there's evidence of that already..mark Clement on radio 5 yesterday brushed off Preston's defeat to us as 'everyone will lose there anyway'

Levi Bellfield ‘confesses to Russell murders’
Paninistickers replied to ClaphamFox's topic in General Chat
Totally agree, tho as a white collar job, middle aged white guy, the US system is weighted in my favour -
Thought Stoke were better than than all the other 11 man defences we've seen so far, even allowing for a couple of comedy passes and.miscontrols. The 22 Junha looked decent. But either I've got used to us playing like this or we've gotten better. We just look on another planet. It's almost unfair (and obscene) with the budget and squad we have.

Colin Stagg. Barry Bulsara (or whatever he called himself) ....even the pitchfork murders they tried to pin on another lad Stitch ups absolutely rife in the 70s 80s and 90s
