  1. Not for me. You only sign on a loan player if you are effectively doping the team with a better class player. I go as far back as Kevin Campbell, who gave the whole club a lift he was so good. Or, the other way, when Barnes tore it up for West Brom and Barnsley.
  2. That's exactly why we don't want him. We ain't Chelsea's bitch, sacrificing games to provide work experience for their youngsters for their eventual profit. Find some other mug.
  3. I'm 50/50 on him. I'm.absolutley convinced this system is making heavy weather of the division (in spite of the lead at the top) and a more pragmatic approach would see us up easy. but I like the fact he's absolutely convinced by it. He's totally obsessed it seems on his conviction that this way is the right way.
  4. Do me a favour. I'd imagine every single one of our top 13 players on duty will be better than their best player. We are beating ourselves in these games by playing in second gear all game. The opposition are nigh on irrelevant
  5. I do worry he's this season's Ward. He was a one man relegation machine(I think any team below Brighton or Villa would've gone down with him there for 26 games). Is Casadei the promotion Kryptonite? Plenty of options as and when we need to rest Wilf. The obvious two being Praet straight replacement or Ricky shunted into that role and Hamza at RB filling Ricky's hole (yes, left that phrase in for some levity) Or, Marc Albrighton would be far more reliable in an emergency. Finally I'd go McAteer in there. Only if all those options were unavailable would I go for Casadei.
  6. It looked odd to me at the time. A striker unwanted by a very poor Everton sides who's main striker is continually injured yet didn't want this guy anywhere near as deputy. 8m ffs. And it's the same ol' foxes talk posters who declared him better than proven PL strikers Cards and Kels, the same lot who binned off Wilf for Casadei.
  7. Agreed. Nobody should ever ever agree to these deals. That's Leeds and now Sheff Weds games we've spunked for the benefit of Chelsea.
  8. Very very poor that fans can see what a waste of space he is but not the manager. My club doesn't blood players for another club at our expense. Maybe we as fans can show patience with one of our own academy, but not someone else's
  9. I've come on here at HT plenty this year super relaxed compared with hysteria all round. But that was utter garbage. Soon as I saw Casadei in I thought we'd have problems. He's anonymous. Not a fan of Coady. And I do t trust our wingers just to do the basics, which is all we need to brush these aside.
  10. West Brom 3rd?! Totally bizarre..wtf have they come from?
  11. It is tempting that rest and rotate but the flipside is 3 points is 3 points. Neither pose any danger to us for promotion therefore, maybe place all your chips in the easier three points (sheff weds) and takes your chances v west Brom with a rotated team
  12. Agree. I generally don't go for birds who are too done up on that basis. Even the ones who barely wear make up still spend 10 mins in the bathroom at night wiping it all off with various potions Helluva pair of thighs though.
  13. Wouldn't let Casadei anywhere near a starting xi after the Leeds debacle
  14. Wanted to add to several comments already made that Jannik was outstanding (again) yesterday. He was the captain in all but name. Defensively aggressive (got tight to his man and dug a leg round the side time and again) , won every header, two headers at goal and, basically, when he's on the ball surveying what's ahead, I'm totally calm. I noticed yesterday he took an extra touch, often feigning to play an easy square ball to Faes or Mads but the turning back into the direction of traffic to make the more difficult pass.
  15. I saw signs yesterday in those last 25 mins that we can let ourselves off the leash. And we were much better for it. running at them from deep and breaking their lines. JJ overlapping. (On the overlapping thing, my preference is still for modern full backs who overlap and create overloads. This system, JJ apart in those last 20, just doesn't allow for that) Ironically, the time I wanted us to have slow boring possession was from about 80 mins and we couldn't then do it. Poor Casadei looked a bit lost again. Did one of two nice things but he looks a poor fit. Praet should've come on.
  16. Best of luck fella
  17. We had thousands leaving..I reckon there were only 20k.left.at the final whistle and only 5 or 6k for the players' applause/ walk around
  18. Saints and Leeds cross hairs are firmly set on Ipswich, not us..And if they do.catch them, their attention will turn to fending Ipswich.and.each other off,.rather than chase our top spot.
  19. It's just such a demoralising lack of unity, solidarity. With both fellow supporters and with the players. Such bad bad manners. I can assure those that feel the need to leave to beat the traffic (and that's what it is, a miniscule life hack win, a dopamine hit, feeling as if they've beat 'the man') ....that life isn't that different for me sitting in static traffic for 30 mins more than I otherwise would do. What's the hurry?
  20. Another to add that the ref was excellent today
  21. The leaving early brigade grows by the week. It is at epidemic levels now. It's just absolute rank bad manners 1-0 at 87 mins and the crowds are pouring out. The club comms needs to ask Enzo to appeal for the crowd's support in those crucial last 10 mins. Absolutely pitiful that that is necessary, but it may persuade some of the 'strictly come dancing' freaks to delay their home arrival by 25 mins or so. As for the others, I'm guessing the tellys are on in the concourse. Turn those ****ing things off. The appalling manners of these people don't deserve pandering to and given an option to watch
  22. We gotta cut out this sparring match we seem to have with teams in the first half. Playing at 30 %. I'd prefer us to go out harder every now and then and try to win the game early. We have the talent to do so.
  23. Fab Tifo again. Well done and thanks to all those who plough all that effort in
