Well, I saw post after post after post selecting him on posters' preferred team. He's absolutely ****ing useless.

Well, 90% of posters on here pre match were praising the line up. Same formation, downgrade of winks to Aribo, physically feeble players in Reid, Ricky and Thomas. Why were so many happy at the start? The selection and tactics were as obvious as they were painful. The definition of madness.

That's a great post @Iwebema and the line above is particularly astute. He's a youth coach by trade. He isn't qualified to lead an organisation in terms of culture and strategy and certainly not finance. The grotesquely overblown contracts he dishes out tho are the fault of Whelan. My take is two things; predominantly a cultural thing of KP of 'the less said the better' ....he's been schooled in that way. Second, there's probably an element of imposter syndrome. He's out of his depth and probably knows it
