Bobby De Cordova-Reid joins permanently - Official

Well, I saw post after post after post selecting him on posters' preferred team. He's absolutely ****ing useless. -
Birmingham 2-1 LCFC, post-match thread
Paninistickers replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Well, 90% of posters on here pre match were praising the line up. Same formation, downgrade of winks to Aribo, physically feeble players in Reid, Ricky and Thomas. Why were so many happy at the start? The selection and tactics were as obvious as they were painful. The definition of madness. -

Most of this board love this lad to death..play Bob up front, number 10, never any resistance to him playing.. Absolute first class shite from the minute he stepped in the club -
Amazed how many people are happy with that. Some no mark from Southampton in for a far superior half arsed Winks, so apart from Lascelles, it's the same old gibberish. But most seem happy
-
Plus Bob, who'll achieve a invisible man stunt worthy of a Vaudeville theatre

When I was at primary school, I had to do a recorder concert on stage. But didn't know how to play the recorder. So I stood there and just moved my fingers over the holes and hoped nobody noticed. That's Luke Thomas that is. But him having had 8 years of elite recorder lessons. And paid millions to play the recorder.

As unsurprising as it is sickening. I've become numb to the torture of seeing BdcR and Thomas
-
20 mins til the soul destroying sight of Thomas and BdcR on the starting xi teamsheet

That's a great post @Iwebema and the line above is particularly astute. He's a youth coach by trade. He isn't qualified to lead an organisation in terms of culture and strategy and certainly not finance. The grotesquely overblown contracts he dishes out tho are the fault of Whelan. He should never have had the authority to send the wage bill spiralling to 116% of revenues. What can be laid at his door, for sure, is footballing performance and a lack of authority over managers. I'm one of those that still think a decent recruitment policy is there, somewhere. But he seemed bullied by Rodgers into bringing in Rodgers' mate as recruitment boss. 'Managed upwards' by Enzo, who took over the transfer policy in the summer window and scaled long standing coaches like Sadler. And he showed no backbone with Cooper, whose demands for clapped out garbage from poor performing rival EPL clubs should've been overruled. He's weak.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Would be lovely just to give ourselves a chance in a game and play 11 men. Even bad men. Instead, we play 8 plus BdcR and Ayew who make no contribution at all and Luke Thomas who does make a contribution, but for the opposition. Troublingly, they seem to be the first names on the teamsheet
-
My take is two things; predominantly a cultural thing of KP of 'the less said the better' ....he's been schooled in that way. Second, there's probably an element of imposter syndrome. He's out of his depth and probably knows it

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Talk about blue tinted specs! Our esteemed DoF is only just brushing down his windows 95 PC and typing (one finger) into AskJeeves 'how do I find football manager?' -
Yes, you are quite right. 58 games for us. Amazing how many strikers Pleat got through who had some pedigree. Newell he inherited (tho coincidentally helped build his career prior to us) Cross, Wayne Clarke, Jimmy Quinn (strange one that, division top scorer but he barely played him) David Lowe, Rooster Russell, David Kelly, Ashley Ward.
-
Peter Weir and Nicky Cross were the shrewd, clever sort of loan signings we thought Pleat was going to deliver time and again. Alas,.both left at the end of their half season loans and Pleat went doolally

At least someone appreciates us!

Just thinking the same! There's some bitterness in his writing. I suppose any supporter that's been (figuratively) bent over and gang bummed 9 times in a single night - the indignity witnessed live by tens/hundreds of millions worldwide - is bound to feel a little sore. -
Plenty of mid 60s husband/wife big long scarf drongos clapping at the end

'Wee wahhh smarrr cub'

Just waiting for bankruptcy until we can move on. The whole club, the whole City even, just waiting til this strange little Thai man destroys himself, his family wealth and the club with it
-
So long as we wear blue shorts and have 'lucky' gold daubed all over the kit, that strange little Thai man doesn't give a sjit
-
With only a slight exaggeration, his appearance for anyone brings me to the point of vomiting. I despise him.
-
Exactly what I expected tbh. Thomas BdcR and Ayew are the first three names on the teamsheet..I think if they could get away with it, they'd be the only names on the teamsheet. King was front left and centre of Cifuentues bench advisory board. I am starting to wonder if the financial situation is so bad, that appearance bonuses are having the final say on the starting xi and we are fielding a team based on cost. There is no rational reason why the coaches continually pick the same line up every single game

Another episode of the slow, the weak, and the effeminate
