Ok, two quick things 1. This post is about a chippy. The halalification of a chippy isn't English, no. 2. A lament that I'm watching the entire urban area of Leicester turn brown, turn Sikh, turn Hindu, turn Muslim isn't unreasonable. It's not a pine for the good old 1950s. Just think it's a bit of a a shame to see a culture completely change. Itd feel the same regret to see Mumbai being totally white and having Greggs, Spoons and McDonald's everywhere.

Leicester v Middlesboro - Tuesday 4th November
Paninistickers replied to beepee1984's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ordinarily I'd agree. But remember we will be playing Bob Reid and Luke Thomas. Effectively puts us down to nine men. In fact, although Bob is worse than Thomas, he doesn't actually concede us goals. Luke Thomas is a man down AND a (minimum) goal handicap. So we will line up v Middlesbrough with nine men and a goal down. Lose. -
Obvs Evington stopped from being an English village suburb years ago along with Belgrave. Spinney Hills. Hamilton, Humberstone More recently Oadby has fallen. Birstall. Wigston. Welford Road. Obvs Narbourgh Road/West End tho that's always been changeable tbf. Aylestone is on its way. I've no idea as I don't visit this side of town much but I'd guess Thurmaston and Syston are being chipped away at. Glenfield and New Parks have very recently started the inevitable slide into becoming India. Leaves maybe Blaby, LFE, Braunstone, Anstey, Groby as the last remaining English suburbs.

Mass Sit In- Stoke (h)
Paninistickers replied to The Year Of The Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just posted on another thread about the exponential rise of a type of supporter that used to be only seen in around 150 supporters club members. The fan base is predominantly cuck. Thousands of em..Physically pathetic creatures..Poor posture. Out of shape. Badly dressed. Poor diet. Lacking in aspiration. A suburban precariat.. -
Protest at the Boro game. Mass walk out?

Cliff Ginetta and his supporters club used to fascinate me. The Supporters Club was a lifestyle. 1 coach from Hinckley, 2 from Humberstone Gate and 1 bus from Loughborough (fella called Tony Kershaw ran that) . Basically 160 or so punters. Obsessed by City but largely ambivalent to what division we played in or even how we played. Blackburn or Man U. Port Vale or Liverpool. It made no odds to them. 160 then. Give or take..Out of around 12000 home fans. Now we have an easy 8000 and maybe up to 14000 of the same ilk out of 28000 home fans. They don't like us losing. But it don't matter to them. The club's gone. This type of punter wouldn't protest,. wouldn't object or even raise a question mark if their lives depended on it. -
I'll give it 10 mins before the police announce it's 'not thought to be terror related' statement before announcing they've arrested tow British nationals Mamood al Haq and Youssef bin laden.

He's dreadful. Just a poor poor player. To the extent I feel a little sorry for him. Pity is worse than anger. In every sense a pitiful player. But as always, like Thomas, Ward, BdcR, Coady, ...you don't HAVE to play these players. Responsibility lies with the manager. -

Middlesbrough absolute garbage -
Thomas isn't not much better. He's considerably worse . VK was pretty ok. A steady 6/10. Took a knock first half And was clearly signalling to come off shortly before second goal. Thomas isn't professional level.

Nah, those old dears didn't go in the 1980s and 1990s. They'd have been in their 20s and 30s then. I can categorically state the old members terrace, double decker and pens weren't full of 28 year old fanny chanting Pleat Out.- 149 replies

Protest at the Boro game. Mass walk out?

Every time the camera pans in on our crowd, it's genuinely quite concerning. If there's 20 people in shot, it's a suprise if there's a healthy male visible. The remaining 19 will be women over 60 years of age, older men or those in very poor physical or financial shape -
I'm starting to think more is at play than we know about. Something is off.

Leicester vs Blackburn (H) 1/11/2025

I just don't get this. Did you see the difference last week when Faes replaced Thomas? Whatever people think of Wout Faes, he's indescribably advanced as a footballer when compared to LT. -

Tho, in a way, I'll miss the worst player in the EFL attempting to do a Cruyff turn out of sheer panic -

To do what exactly? He just runs around occupying the right sort of positions but that's it. He doesn't touch the ball, tackle, head or intercept. He's too slow to track a runner. Too physically insignificant to cause the oppo any worries by being there. Skipp, Hamza, Faes would all be better no 10s than Bob -

Same ol' good ol' 4231. Imaginative stuff from the manager. -

Paninistickers replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Off on a tangent here, but I'd find it interesting if there was an experiment using those players our fans love to hate; Faes, Soumare, Thomas, BdcR and VK. If they each played a game up front as striker for Anstey Nomads. What would the class gap be? My feeling is that Soumare, Faes and VK would be stratospherically above any player on the pitch. My suspicion is Thomas and BdcR wouldn't look any different. And conceivably be worse. -

BdcR? It's hard to fathom sometimes if some of us share the same planet. I wouldn't pick BdcR for an arm wrestle with Stephen Hawkings, let alone play a professional football match -
Mate, I'm first in line to mock our away support and the lemons who seems to occupy the front 20 rows round the whole KP. But, I agree with you entirely. It was a rare moment KP have 'allowed' fan player interaction. A nice story. An evening away from the gloom. Dunno why everyone is so keen to take the piss. I'd guess it was a harmless and friendly and wholesome night out.

Britain has a proud tradition of middle distance runners. Coe. Ovett. Cram. And Keeley Hodgkinson...

I get you, but she's still a nutter. Unfair on the poor McCanns to have to pay the price for her lunacy.

I think this view might actually be popular with a small number, but I absolutely love the clocks going back Love getting in at 5.30pm and it feeling like it's 8pm and allowed to be cosy & slob out. Bliss.
