  1. I can't believe I'm about to type this, but check out this cliff Richard 1980 hit. Carrie
  2. https://ashby.nub.news/news/local-news/rail-campaigners-submit-plans-for-revived-ivanhoe-line-through-ashby-as-part-of-larger-transport-system-254061?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR3TvgsD10mKvFCZdzMSeIjkVOCGnucYqhL9j_6urwPhh17ljTz0orRV7h4_aem_2VyvbfWN_iNoIMzlzTALdw
  3. There's more than one way to cook an egg. Ukraine have perhaps been a bit too transparent in their reliance on the west. They maybe need to sow some seeds of doubt in the Russians rather than lay out preconditions. Suggestions of guerilla war. Iraq,.Taliban style insurgency. Assassinations of leading Putinites (which they've proved they can do). Team up with Chechnyan separatists....give themselves some negotiation power
  4. Yeah, wasn't having a pop at you. You're no cuck! Lol
  5. Dunno why now this came into my head but, the poor fella has had to ask TWICE to be dropped..Ask. ASK. FFS. After the Chelsea Chilwell debacle. Rodgers said something along the lines of 'he's a very honest lad and his own biggest critic' Then, obvs, after the Wolves debacle, pleading with the clueless Dutchman to drop him. Sometimes you just have to let these things percolate to really admire the scale of farce
  6. The Dutchman's cucks have done everything they can think of to justify his horrific tenure.. There is no trying to explain it away. It's sheer arrogance. Petulance. Same as Rodgers kyboshing the season by playing Ward. The is absolutely zero mitigation (defensively sound formation ....keeps possession better ....better assists and goals blah blah) for playing the personnel and formation the arrogant cvnt chooses to each week. Ward. Bdcr. Same ol' defence.. Midfield unable to cope as a two. A literally useless Vards. An absolute travesty of a relegation.
  7. Great watch. Thanks. Almost every word a pleasure to listen to (tho unconvinced if Ukraine in the EU) Putin's main play is that a mollycoddled, beta western Europe has tnthe stomach for a fight. And he's right. Who wants war? But maybe, just maybe, we called his bluff.... UK + France can't be bullied with nukes. 30k troops each into the pot. Add to that Ukrainians, 50k Poles, 50k Finns and Baltic states. Would give the fckers - him and Trump - some food for thought .
  8. Except for a worldwide outbreak of a virus that causes sniffles!
  9. Happens every week. Then the Dutchman's cucks come tiptoeing out to support him with the ol'... 'no manager on earth could work with these players'
  10. Not watching is the new not going. Absolutely pointless innit? Bdcr, Vards, Ayew. Blame totally laid at the feet of Okoli, Mavididi and Buonanotte who come on at 3-0 down and each give the ball away actually trying to do something
  11. Family holiday, peak time August, not hot.... and cheap? Demanding punter aren't you, Maybe a Eurocamp holiday (not in a tent tho) in Brittany close to coast, weather same as UK, and easyish drive to Nantes or Rennes if you wanted the city aspect
  12. Totally bizarre. He'll still be small. He'll still be weak. He'll still be slow. He'll still be unable to tackle. Or dribble.. So what makes you think he'll be 'good to have around'? Sort of the Podcaster role?
  13. Goodness gracious me Edit; this is a parody profile I presume. Bravo sir.
  14. In almost all cases, you cannot possibly tell if a player is trying or not.
  15. I think you are making a terrible mistake confusing on field ability, or form....with who the real person is. Plus most are as good as kids. Even the more senior players, say Winks for example, are actually very young men at the start of their lives.
  16. I find it odd, to the point of disturbing, that so many people are so eager to offer the Dutchman excuses. Very very odd. I've wondered aloud on here before the effect a good looking guy has on men, let alone women. There needs to be a white paper on it. There is absolutely no way a Moyes or Cooper or some other foul looking, monstrous beast would have so many rushing to their defence
  17. I'd be amazed if he doesn't have a relegation clause. Even if only for a loan deal with, say, wages + 3m loan fee. I'd be amazed he signed - with the points deduction looming - without any backstop
  18. We really do, this time, have an opportunity for a reset. Immediately, I'd make Coady, Ayew, Vesty (who I kinda like, but that's not the point) and BdCR all unavailable for selection to a manager They'd all be invited to discuss a settlement with us or welcome to train individually at Belvoir Drive in the afternoons when the girls are finished. No training available at Seagrave. Ward, Vards, Luke Thomas out. Hamza loaned out. We'd fetch money for the great man Wilf (who has a clause, mentioned when those Monaco rumours came up), Soumare, Bilal, Mads and at a push Winks & Faes.. The core of the phoenix squad will be based around JJ, Okoli, VK, Skipp, Abdul, Stephy, Daka, Stolarcyk, Souttar, Coulibaly, Ricky, Ben Nelson, McAteer plus any kids that have potential (tho I'm far from convinced of alves, braybrooke etc) . Add 3 X PL loans and a couple of free agents. My captain out of that lot would be, yup, JJ. Never hides..Speaks well. Great attitude. And a very good championship player.
  19. Puel disastrously attempted to replace him 7 years ago when the old dog still had years left However, it was evident in the relegation season Vards had gone. He wasn't a regular. Nor last season. Speaks volumes of our predicament that he's been ever present (more or less) two years older and later amd add to that play is two years more advanced too
  20. Remember when Smith, faced with more or less no alternatives, dropped his two best players (Barnes and Madders) for Newcastle away.... brought them in with 20 to go and almost won the game. Sometimes football is about being imaginative. Smith, at least, tried to shake it up to get a result. As the old saying goes, a bad workman blames his tools. Exactly what the Dutchman does
  21. Either what Clapham said above, and I think he's being very generous to all sides there. There is zero evidence the Dutchman is capable of leading both team and club rebuild Or, the most plausible theory, is that the club (top, Whelan, Rudkin) are in their usual state of paralysis, don't want to be seen to have made a mistake and simply hope that things will turn around on their own
  22. Fair point - but talk about fiddling whilst Rome burns. How about helping project reset drive the horrific foursome out of our club
  23. So.many people seem so eager to excuse or please this vain, arrogant, under qualified, awful man. I'll do some.more adjectives later
  24. Said it before he was appointed, said it when he was appointed, said it again and again since. An awful, arrogant, nasty man.
  25. He despises us. It's all about him. He's enjoying this.
