It’s nowhere near as lucrative as the American sporting model collectively. Plus, will all of this investment going into the NFL football marriage, the US at some point will expect a return…. Its the one thing the US and gulf investors agree on, they want the worlds best all under one roof, the money that could be for grabs is unthinkable….. the super league was merely to test the water in my opinion, I think it’s eventually going to happen, it may start as a replacement for the champions league, but I think eventually within the next 10-20 years it will happen.

The King power group have more or less instructed Top and “the family” to sell the club, they can’t afford to take the risk, as @Ric Flair says weee losing millions, it’s unsustainable, they can no longer afford to run us, they have to sell us…. In my opinion, eventually we will end up with an international closed league of the worlds best teams, with an American style set up with no relegations or promotions….. So essentially we will have that as the “major league” and domestic football will be “minor league”…… there’s no chance it doesn’t happen, unless the EPL are prepared to bed the devil……

US is most likely, having spent some time in business with consortiums from the Middle East, there’s not chance they would willingly pay £200m for a league one club……. Whereas US investors would view it very differently, if they felt that they could franchise the club…….. The only thing is, there’s loads of US owners in English football now, what distinguishes them from one another?

What I don’t understand is, how can we sign shit like, Ayew, Burns, Cullen Bobby Reid etc, etc…. But then still sign some quality young players like Abdul, Kanga and Bristric (yet to be proven)…. But it’s clear there’s a lack of alignment between the recruitment team and some managers….. Its quite clear when a manager signs a player and the recruitment team….. the only manager who’s seemingly controlled transfers and got it right was Enzo, but as you’ve highlighted so many managers have been poor…. Even Rodgers as good as a tactician he is, his personal signings are ****ing abysmal! Puel, was excellent, but his football was abysmal…. What we need to do is say, “our recruitment team will find the players, you tell us what profile you want”…. Rather than them suggest their mates who are 9 times out of 10 ****ing garbage.

But do we deserve it?
