  1. I mean, I mediocrity is being a stable premier league team, what on earth are we? So I don’t really understand the point you’re making there? West Ham are another club who are run badly, so it’s not really a good comparison. And I know a few West Ham fans and they certainly do not want to be in the championship…… who does, it’s a horrid league. it certainly isn’t…… I want my club to compete, and when it gets into a position of sheer advantage sustain it…… the fact you’re quoting the likes of Jock Wallace probably explains why you have the views you have…… this football club is not the same club you grew up supporting as a boy, and you’re badly mistaken thinking that we’re just a small fry unattractive proposition…… that’s ludicrous. What I can’t understand is how you can’t see this, how you can’t see what’s happened at the club? How can people not get that the success we had gave us an incredible platform to improve…… the only reason we didn’t is because of sheer negligence and poor management from Top and his board room. I just can’t drill home enough this fact, the fact we’ve essentially won the lottery and pissed it away…… And then you suggest Brighton and Bournemouth are mediocre? And in the same breath West Ham would be chuffed to be in the championship? I just don’t get it, it’s unfortunately one of the traits of some sections of the fanbase who are complicit in our demise, they just don’t get it or understand the gravity of the situation we’re in.
  2. So you ignore my response and just continue to ask everyone else the same question 😂 this is the definitive of a complicit Leicester fan 😂
  3. He’s shit. Unfortunately, like it lump it, a back three should be Faes, Nelson and Vestegaard. That’s probably our best three.
  4. It’s got zero to do with superior knowledge….. it’s a general consensus on a topic that’s been hotly discussed on here for about 4 years…… What have Southampton, Swansea, Ipswich and Norwich got anything to do with it? Have any of those clubs had close to £600m pass through the club in the last decade? No…… did any of these clubs get a golden ticket winning the PL and gaining all of the financial rewards that come with that and competing in Europe? No. The clubs you should be quoting are Bournemouth, Brentford, Palace, Fulham and Brighton…… who are far more stable than we are, at half the size of us and bar palace with an FA cup win, haven’t had the success we have had…. You quote Blackburn? Completely different era of football, the money in the game then was nothing compared to today….. So in short, the situation we’re in is like winning £200m on the lottery, and within a few years being homeless…. This has nothing to do with the clubs previous stature. And the solution is a boardroom of competent people who won’t make the same mistakes these clowns have. As it has been said time and time again, we’re not in this position because we’re little Leicester City, we’re in the position because we have a completely incompetent board room, who’s negligence has completely destabilised and destroyed the club, and continue to do so. To conclude, Top needs to sell the club.
  5. Why bother posting such ill educated comments? Again, the type of opinion from someone who’s complicit in our demise, because of their inability to grasp how modern football/businesses work.
  6. So it was about 18k - 19k then?
  7. 1-0 Norwich. They will score after about ten minutes and we will do **** all for 90 minutes….
  8. Sending strength for a speedy recovery!
  9. 18k was the “actual” allegedly. Official 28 which I don’t understand…… what’s actual and official?
  10. You’d better have good patience then!
  11. We can.
  12. Don’t be silly, Nigel’s time in the game is over, the guys not healthy enough to be managing a club anymore. A more senior advisory role perhaps, but a manager no chance.
  13. No way this lads a footballer, no way.
  14. Take out all of the outside noise, Marti is doing extremely poorly. I mean that game was ****ing horrible…. Walking pace football with zero ****ing threat. With the wide players we have, we should be playing transitional football, that what we’re seeing here. We need a manager who is going to play a high pressing game and will utilise transition. We don’t have the players to try and play “possession” football. We need someone who will go back to the basics of the game and get them right. And try and find a team that at the very least fights. This squad, as despicable as it is is better technically that its current showing. We can’t change the players and the two bellends running the show aren’t going anywhere. So may as well bin Marti off and try something else.
  15. How many wake up calls does one club need?
  16. We were just as ****ing bad! We offered absolutely nothing…. If Boro had a decent front line they would have ****ing battered us.
  17. Another game, another horrific performance. Nelson looked good, everyone else was shit. Just another shit example of how shit this league is, if they were second. Can’t really add anymore analysis than that. No attacking threat whatsoever….. and the mentality of a piss wet through tissue paper. The lot of them can **** off.
  18. Marti just never, ever gets it right. 0-4 Boro.
  19. The selection is last throw of the dice territory…..
  20. Good lad!
  21. I know……. ****ing unreal. I mean Aluko has looked far ****ing better than Silko ever did at academy level….. so I’m starting to think we’ve actually got Stevie Wonder as a coach…..
  22. I take it you’re referring to Holloway? If so yes. I was at Stoke. This is a far worse team, and this is another thing that we need to consider when talking about past teams. Regardless of our current state, this is now a completely different club to what it was then. The team was poor, the club was modest and only recently spared from administration….. the financial state of the club was far more inline with the second tier of football then. Now, it’s a completely different story this is a football club of much larger stature being run abhorrently…… there’s no excuse for where we are at the moment other than sheer mismanagement of the club, and horrible recruitment. So in short, it was expected indeed that era, in this not only should it not be expected, it shouldn’t be accepted…….. You can understand being relegated when you’re a modest second tier club with provisions that align, but when you’ve recently won the premier league, the FA cup and competed in Europe and attained the financial backing that comes with it…… you shouldn’t be in the position we’re in, unless you’ve had an incredibly negligent boardroom… It’s a very long way of saying this current team is worse than that, because on paper they really shouldn’t be in this position, but it is because of the complete lack of character and care for the club.
  23. The misinterpretation of “backing the lads” is exactly why the majority of our matchday fanbase are complicit in the demise of this football club. I don’t understand why some supporters just can’t grasp criticism, and how it absolutely fine to criticise when it is warranted…. This is the worst Leicester team that I have seen in my time as a supporter…… technically we’ve had worse, but as many have eluded to, this is the worst in terms of attitude and all round characteristics….. the majority of this team has overseen two of the worst relegations in this clubs history, both pathetic within their own rights……. The fact these same players are ambling around the pitch, not giving us anything still, is unacceptable….. it’s unacceptable at board level for signing them and offering them pathetic contracts, and it’s unacceptable from the players, for not having enough personal pride, or redeeming qualities to over come this. It’s the most despicable group of players I’ve had the displeasure of watching, with the exception of a couple….. I think the rot will continue, this team is presenting the same downbeat attitude as previously relegated teams, but they don’t look remotely bothered about trying to get out of it…. We’re done, and we will get relegated this season, and it will be another pathetic display which I’m sure some will clap off the pitch again. The majority are a disgrace to the shirt and a disgrace to the badge. The warning signs are there, and we’ve failed to heed them time and time again……
  24. But for £24m of the kings, I expect more than just getting a dab on. I can accept effort if it’s Ian Hume, because he was shit and cost as much as a shit player would. Skipp is shit, but cost £24m….. so my empathy for him is somewhat lacking.
  25. This. Staying at this level for a bit of a reset, isn’t possible. As you rightly point out, the financial blueprint will diminish significantly the longer we are here, Top won’t invest into the club, so we are reliant on generating our own funds. Any half decent player will end up being sold on the cheap to plug financial holes in the club, and we will just end up stagnating….. The problem is, Top and Rudkin aren’t capable of running the club, so under this regime we’re ****ed either ways If we go up we will make a mess of it, if we stay here we will make a mess of it. At the end of the day it all comes back to one thing, Top has to sell for any chance of a recovery.
