  1. ...and got relegated...
  2. Having seen the Cunha decision, we're down. Apparently Wolves stay up this year.
  3. For some reason, in my head we played them twice already
  4. To be honest, I'm not bothered what others do. Ipswich can survive for all I care. I'm just focused on us. Wins against Palace, Ipswich, Southampton and Everton are VITAL. Honestly, if we get those, I think we stay up.
  5. That's why I didn't say it would keep us up but give us a fighting chance. You always pick up the odd draw, or scrape something. I remember that awful QPR squad scraping draws and wins at Spurs and Chelsea. But having about 8-10 wins to your name, plus a few draws, seems to be what you need these days. At the very least, it's respectable. Considering I thought we'd be dead certs for the drop and constantly in bottom 3, to only fall into it at Christmas is already above expectations.
  6. It's going to be a long, tough second half to the season but teams always get freak results like this. We just have to make sure that WE get them too. 5 more wins and I'd say we're in with a fair shout. That's very doable. We might not stay up but that's giving us a fighting chance.
  7. Mate, just enjoy Bangkok 🤣
  8. Xg is actually a useful stat. It takes into account a few factors and can tell you a few things.
  9. We're not monsters
  10. It's still doable. It requires structure and organisation but that Wolves defeat will likely come to define the season.
  11. Oh for god's sake just give the goal
  12. Skippy the sodding bush kangaroo...
  13. I hate the idea of big team bias but refs do not help themselves
  14. Yes, Scousers. Boo the injury.
  15. Looks clearer than the non league I attended today. A goal went in. Half the crowd had to be told by the players.
  16. On one hand, disappointing Everton got a point but on the 115 other hands...
  17. 3.75 miles today with quarter mile sprints. Dripping with sweat because it's about 8 degrees warmer than I expected.
  18. Actually thought this tbh
  19. Double drop is very, VERY rare. I know it's cool to think we would do it but I seriously doubt it.
  20. I'd also add that, as I've said before, you're looking at £50+ to get a ticket to a game. For that money, you want to enjoy it. It's not entitled to say "hang on, I've paid nearly £100 for me and my lad to come down and he's been bored out of his skull" I was down my local non league yesterday. It was cold, windy and bloody awful weather but had more enjoyment from it.
  21. If that's what he was doing then that's a stupid risk to take when you're in a relegation 6 pointer. It's one thing doing it last week against Newcastle or even the Man City game but to do it when you NEED 3 points....no.
  22. Oh blimey. Caught it on the radio while driving. At least with Brentford and Newcastle you could they were away to teams with decent form. That sounded like a car crash. Not even sure where we go from here.
  23. What makes you say he wouldn't be a certain starter? I admit that he probably wouldn't be the solution to midfield defensive issues but he'd be a fairly regular name on the team sheet. He's above Skipp, Soumare and (possibly) Winks.
  24. Tbf I get it. It really does make me uncomfortable but it was 8 years ago, he was found guilty and served his time. There's been no other allegations or evidence since. I've worked around musicians a lot and I have absolutely seen some terrible behaviour. I can fully understand and appreciate someone not wanting to go because of Simpson's. That's their choice and I don't think it's fair to judge them on that. I will also point out BBC just had Paul Merson on Strictly as well...
