  1. This is brilliant, insightful and wise advice. I wouldn’t hold our collective breaths that anyone at LCFC is receptive to wise and insightful recommendations…
  2. And this… Taking the helm of King Power Duty Free amidst its impending collapse, new CEO Nitinai Sirismatthakarn confronts the monumental task of company revival and the critical need to restore accountability. … are we sure the writer is not talking about LCFC, the parallels are startlingly.
  3. I don’t see it that way John. I have been season ticket holder for as long as I can remember. I will always support the team through thick and thin. I hate that Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has degraded our club to what it is today. I want him gone so badly it hurts but I can separate my disdain and loathing for him and his incompetent executives from the love of our club which will never waiver. I get some fans views that we should stop enabling him but I don’t think selling out our season ticket allocation is an endorsement of the King Power regime. If he, Rudkin and Whelan are deluded to think that, we’re in bigger trouble than I thought.
  4. It’s mental isn’t it.
  5. Fair do’s. Perhaps I am seeing literally everything through a negative lens as far as Leicester City FC is concerned.
  6. Leicester social media being disingenuous again. I don’t think Jakub has any say in it. Leicester has just triggered a contractual 1 year extension. If it was new contract it would surely be a 3 or 4 year deal. If Jakub has a good first half of the season and is still waiting for an offer that reflects his value don’t be surprised if he leaves on a free at the end of next season.
  7. This. We were all pleased at the time that the club challenged the Premier League and won - what now looks like a hollow victory. We embarrassed them by shining a spotlight on their ill-drafted rules. We would have been better to take our punishment for PSR breaches that were obvious if not legally water tight. The Premier League are determined to make an example of us. I am becoming more and more convinced the lack of absolutely anything happening at King Power/LCFC is because the Board are trying to negotiate a way through this mess.
  8. If the quotes in the article are true he seems keen to return to Germany. He also has his sights set on a top league job rather than stay in the Championship.
  9. Love the Arabic commentary, just brilliant 😀
  10. I agree, Martin Samuel has consistently railed against PSR. It is a good article but I think it gives Top, Rudkin and Whelan some unjustified cover. Their management of the club in past three years has been calamitous.
  11. Martin Samuel writing in today’s Sunday Times. Leicester victims of PSR quadruple jeopardy Leicester City would like to make a managerial change; that much seems obvious. Ruud van Nistelrooy won four league matches in his tenure, two of which came after relegation, against teams that, like Leicester, were already down. They cannot move, however, because of Profitability and Sustainability Rules (PSR). Leicester already fear a vindictive 12-point deduction in the Championship next season, and paying off Van Nistelrooy would make their financial predicament worse. Any player who may be considered an asset, such as goalkeeper Mads Hermansen, will have to be sold, weakening them further. Russell Martin, considered a managerial target, has now taken the job at Rangers, and there is a worry that two other candidates, Danny Röhl, of Sheffield Wednesday, and Sean Dyche, may be lost to them too. Leicester erred with Van Nistelrooy, and that’s what PSR does — it cements mistakes in place, with no second chances. So Leicester will be relegated, suffer a points deduction in the league below and conduct a fire sale of what little talent the club do possess, while being stuck with a manager who has shown little aptitude for the job. No one is arguing the club have not been run poorly, but PSR ensures they get no opportunity to change course. This isn’t double jeopardy, it’s quadruple jeopardy. It is almost as if the Premier League won’t rest until it kills a club, just to show it can.
  12. This is an AI fake surely?
  13. I attended the Leicester Tigers v Sale Sharks match at Welford Road and was thoroughly impressed by the matchday experience. The Tigers are light years ahead of Leicester City when it comes to fan engagement, facilities, and their overall attitude towards supporters. The pre-match fan zone in the square beside the Voca Hotel was superb, surpassed only by the catering facilities within the stadium. The banks of self-service beer taps were jaw-dropping. LCFC could certainly learn a thing or two from their neighbours on Welford Road.
  14. Was run well under Khun Vichai. I see little evidence that his son has or is capable of running the club, in fact all evidence of the past three seasons demonstrates he and the board are not up to the job. In any performance based organisation you are judged on results. Top, Rudkin and Whelan have failed when measured against every metric that’s important.
  15. It is embarrassing. The references to ‘they’ imply it’s a whole stream of people involved in the comms and decision making process but the reality has become so clear that it’s all on Top. If he doesn’t make a decision nothing happens. It is for this reason he will never replace Rudkin or Whelan, they are there simply to do his bidding, no other competent exec would work under such intolerable conditions.
  16. First class trolling by LCFC social media. “Preparations for the new campaign are now well underway”. FFS hate them so much right now. https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/leicester-city-lcfc-thank-you-foxes-season-ticket-sold-out-for-2025-26
  17. Top couldn’t run a bath.
  18. I agree, the total disconnect and absence of communication is the opposite of respect. Maybe it’s a cowardly thing.
  19. I would have expected an announcement soon after the season end about RVN’s future. The deathly silence suggests he’s leaving. Speculating it could be they’re struggling to reach a compromise on his termination payment or they are waiting to end of June because of PSR or more likely waiting for Top to get his ass over to the UK so he can make a decision. The way the club is being run these days defies belief.
  20. Totally this. We don’t know what happened to result in both Winks and Vestergaard being dropped but it’s clear it has something to do with Winks refusing to stay at Seagrave 1 night a week and Vestergaard taking the pee with taking dog to the training ground. I imagine words were exchanged neither parties backed down and RVN used the only tool left at his disposal which was to drop them. No party comes out of this mess well. RVN shows he has limited leadership and people management skills and two highly paid footballers treating the club like a country club. Get them gone!
  21. I genuinely don’t think Rudkin is making the decision, particularly if it ends up being RM. I think he was credited with Cooper appointment and it was Top I believe, pressed the ejector button in favour of RVN based simply on the Man Utd results. I don’t the club has had a footballing strategy since Puel left.
  22. Fair question but where’s the evidence. I think Top has ably demonstrated he’s not his father.
  23. There are some malign and disruptive influencers in that dressing room. I wouldn’t be surprised if Winks and Vestergaard are at the top of the list. Get them gone, drain the swamp.
  24. Because the owner is an inadequate idiot.
