Home and Away Support/Atmosphere
purpleronnie replied to FoxesTalker's topic in Leicester City Forum
So now its not the hotels its the cost? If we don't allow them to work legally then we'll pay the cost of helping people escape persecution, we can afford it, we take tiny amounts compared to poorer nations who seem to cope fine. If the tories hadn't made cut backs and lengthened the processing times then they wouldnt be in hotels and people like you wouldnt suddenly be angry about it. Maybe start a protest to allow them to work legally? -

Amazing, love it. Could become cult hero there, huge goalfish bowl, he'll probably thrive on that though.

Its not when it was brought in thats not an issue. It was ruled out because the Palace player was standing too close to the Chelsea wall.....doesnt really stop players pushing etc. -
I doubt anyone is advocating limiting the fan base to a select few. Everyone is welcome. But i understand that some of those more vocal fans might be frustrated going to away games because away games traditionally tend to have a higher percentage of vocal fans, a younger demographic that are more interested in generating an atmosphere. Yet leicester away ends can look more like the home ends, especially compared to other fanbases.

Premier League 2025/26 Thread
purpleronnie replied to OntarioFox's topic in General Football and Sport
The issue i have with the palace disallowed goal is that I thought football wa supposed to be entertainment? A game where the audience wants to see goals?, the rule as far as I can tell was brought in to discourage both of those things. The rule adds nothing but takes away plenty. I can imagine those in IFAB trying to justify their jobs, they've probably never really played the game or even watched the game as fans. -

Had a quick scan of the preston forum (i know), and apparantly they were surprised we'd sold so few tickets, and i quote leicester are 'shit fans' and apparantly after someone had visited our forum we're 'entitled'. They did mention that the home atmosphere was the best for a long time, so i expect prestons atmosphere to be usually quiet like everywhere else. -
You'd think he'd be used to it, LP's half empty near the end. You do seem to see it a lot more in england than elsewhere though, I've seen games abroad and there seems to be very few leaving....why that is I have no idea. Having said that it's nothing new, I remember going regularly in the early 90's and it happened then.

English tifo/active fan group culture
purpleronnie replied to SemperEadem's topic in General Football and Sport
I feel for them but i can't help but laugh at the stupidity of it all, as the rest of world embrace football culture we're trying to destroy any remanence of it. England is so bizarre. -
I agree but things do seem to be changing, the ultra scene is growing there as it is everywhere apart from...well you know.

Imagine if we had not beat sheff wed...and people think we're a shoo-in for top 6? I haven't seen it yet. BTW stoke are outclassing sheff wed and huddersfield losing to blackpool.
