  1. Didn't expect that after the first half. Amazing stuff. Over 90,000 there, fantastic.
  2. I can see them relaxing the rules and turning a blind eye...which pretty much happens now, but the authorities are rightly concerned about who uses it and where, so it wouldnt surprise me if the laws are changed and its allowed, i can't see how it can carry on the way it is now. Won't be for a while though, for the time being I think they'll still stick with the searches and then the usual blaming of each other. What could change things is if theres a serious incident, that could lead to much stricter retaliation or lead to a complete change in law and regulation for safe areas. No question that pyro in scotland isn't going anywhere, practically every week you see it, you feel somethings got to give.
  3. Do you think that scotland will eventually get pyro areas like you see abroad? I keep hearing rumours aboout it and representatives have apparantly visted countries where they have these pyro areas. It seems the authorities are at a loss in how to deal with it, everything they've tried has failed, in fact more pyro is used now then every before. So I think they'll look for alternatives.
  4. Motherwell at home to hertha tonight.
  5. People will do the weirdest stuff. I mean, how did he expect this to end?...if true of course,
  6. I started regualy in 1990, as people have said the atmosphere was mixed, there was no doubt some meorable games, i think overall despite having half the fans we have now the atmosphere was better back then overall, but there are many reasons for that. I doubt any club in england thinks the atmosphere is better at their ground than 30 years a go. And fans in their 50's back in the 1990's would say the atmosphere wasnt as good as the 60/70's.....the atmsophere has been in slow decline for decades.
  7. Hopefully it lifts the womens game and gets more people following it, hopefully it will reverse the drop in attendances.
  8. And those that say it all are of a certain ilk. You could predict them making those comments. Anyway who needs them, well done England, Amazing stuff.
  9. Does football manager on the commodore 64 count? That was the last time i played FM.
  10. Well i guess it was after england lost then its more likely to be from disgruntled england fans. The fact is though that the vast majority of abuse didn't come from within the UK.
  11. You never know where the abuse comes from though, it was shown a lot comes from outside the country. This the problem with social media, morons can be hiding anywhere.
  12. If i was a high profile sportsperson there's no way I'd be on social media.
  13. I remember listening to black 'wonderful life' album at school on my walkman.
  14. Seeing newcastle get thumped by the hoops, happy days.
  15. Goalscorers spelling out ABBA.
  16. England and luck...doesn't seem right does it?
  17. Still recovering from that match, england always seem to offer drama. How did we win that match? How did Sweden lose it? Surely no other international team has missed 3 of their first 4 penalties and got through? I was even a little emotional at the end, thankfully i was on my own.
  18. The only time I went on the pitch, kinda trundled on after everyone was already on there LOL.
  19. If you were there you'll know.
  20. Never heard one player say anything about it. I'm sure some do, but having watched a lot of womens football I can tell you they aren't constantly banging the drum for that. And i very much doubt the constant comparrisons by 'fans' aren't based on the amount of pay they get.
  21. Just sorting a few things out in my loft i came across a box of leicester city stuff, old programmes, scrap books, newspaper articles etc... Found my old wembley flag from 1992, with photos of me and my dad in the garden before we set out to wembley. I had my face painted, leicester hat, leicester scarf, flag, leicester t shirt...I certainly went for it. The scary thing was my dad in that photo was younger than I am now, he turns 83 in a few months, time really does fly doesn't it.
  22. I still have no idea why there is constant comparison with the mens game, it baffles me. Why people are obsessed with doing that is beyond me. But anyway.
