I always keep an eye out for Jersey's results, they've done well finishing 3rd and 4th and are currently 3rd and looking good for the play offs...however I always think they'll fall at the final hurdle...hope not. And theres always the worry they'll follow the rugby team, it must be expensive all that travelling.

Farnham Towns amazing run of winning their first 25 games came to an end last night when they drew with 2nd place Knaphill 0-0.

Theres no leicestershire sides that could become big enough to create a good atmsophere.

Attendances are still really poor generally. Its great that one off games can generate large attendances, but this 'rise' hasn't really spead to the week in week out attendaces like people had hoped. Only 2 WSL teams get over 10,000 for home games, over half dont get 5,000. But theres no doubt things are heading in the right direction. Its going to take time but i wonder what would happen if the womens national team have a few bad tournaments what the effect would be? I wish Leicester women could play in a smaller ground in Leicestershire, something like Hinckleys ground would be perfect, better than 3000 fans in a 30,000 capacity stadium.

I took Lionators comment as a tongue in cheek one.....could be wrong though.

Yeah its just the way its been heading since 92...in England anyway. But i think overall english fans are generally quieter and more reserved thats nothing new. But the way the clubs target certain demographics and surpress the fanbase isnt going to help. I think most managers havent got a clue about how fans are treated in England so can't understand why the fans are so quiet.

Its not just british fans though, fans visiting certain countries always are targeted no matter where they're from. Not sure what anyone can do given thease incidents occur away from stadiums.

So we'd have been better to say screw the FFP and actually tried to stay up...
