They are getting the money from somewhere, the Hazard money will not cover it all! Abramovich had to inject 100+ million of his own money recently to keep Chelsea afloat. I think Chelsea are 1.3 billion in debt to him? The FFP rules have been suspended for 12 months due to Covid, this is why Chelsea are buying young proven talent, they can spend his money now and not pay the penalty. I think Man City will do the same this summer. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/jun/18/uefa-agree-to-suspend-financial-fair-play-rules-due-to-pandemic

Abramovich made his billions out of disaster capitalism, I don't think he was just twiddling his thumbs when the Covid pandemic arrived, he's probably made so much money out of it that he now has some loose change to spend on his Chelsea.

Need someone nasty in the middle, who can roll their sleeves up and dig in. All our midfielders are too lightweight or too nice. Rodgers has probably tried to get Callum Mcgregor from Celtic.
-
You'll be lucky to get a chelsea shirt at £70, the stadium shirt is around £80. If you want the true replica, it is around £110.
-
Cantwell has a nasty side to him, I think we need that in the team! We have too many nice guys in the middle of the park.
-
So much promise in the first half of the season only to go tits up at the end. If we would have started crap and come good towards the end, I would have been far more positive. It just goes to show that a lack of depth in the squad has killed us.

I still have hope, but title winning season aside: there must of been a shift in the space time continuum that season, being a fan of our club is just a rollercoaster ride of emotions. My daughters have seen the light and have followed the family tradition of supporting Leicester, only now do they understand how painful it can be at times when their hope is abruptly curtailed against Bournemouth.

You're more or less confirming what I said on my original post and Rodgers is trying to change that mentality, but he's having trouble trouble doing it since the Man City/Liverpool games at Xmas, the players seemed to stop believing in their ability after these batterings. If you are Chelsea/Man city you can spend a lot of money to get there quicker to become a so called top 6 club.

Oh you're an expert now! Perhaps you work in the field of pyscology?

All this blame game and accusations against players and manager is not going to change the outcome last night, put you pitch forks down and put out your bonfires, as it is now illegal to do witch burning! We are a medium sized club who want to get bigger, but it is not in the clubs DNA as of yet to believe we can compete at the top, this is the difficult part that Rodgers is trying to create. When a Manure player goes out on to the pitch, he understands what it means to play for the club, OGS has brought that back to Yanited in the last few months, Klopp has done the same thing for Liverpool during the last 4 years!

I didn't sleep to well last night, but after the storm has calmed down a bit, I'm a bit more rational! Yes Rodgers made a mistake, so did Kasper, but this is life and we all make them. A lot of people, myself included overeact at first to a loss like this, then we try to find reasons why it happened which then leads to a scapegoat:- Kasper/Rodgers et al. There are too many pitchforks and bonfires at the first sign of a setback! Rodgers needs to be given time to rectify our weakness, which to me is more of mental than ability issue! If he doesn't do this, then he will be under pressure and then fans will be right to call for his sacking.

Watch the re-runs of Puel speaking, that will do it!
-
Perhaps it is a case of the 'emperor's new clothes'.....Although a lot of ex pros and current players speak highly of him. I myself don't like all that David Brentism style management speak, but I'm a cynical old git!
-
I agree the squad is the best we've had for years, but there seems to be a pattern and perhaps the players are not mentally strong enough.
-
Just seen Steve Walsh on LCFC post match reaction podcast, he looks fuming, perhaps Rodgers should let him go into the changing and lock the door behind him!

The Worst 2 Minutes of Our History.
Le Renard replied to deanolegend1989's topic in Leicester City Forum
Sometimes I wonder why I support a football team that gives you hope and then cruelly rips it away. Why do I put myself through torture, then shout like a madman at the TV, then proceed to be a grumpy old man after the match.....I think my family need a break from this.....which they normally get for 3 months during the summer, but not this time! -
Perhaps it is the players, we've had this with Ranieri, Shakespeare, Puel (god forgive) and now Rodgers. We seem to be a club that can play great in patches one half great and then the other s**te!
-
My concern is this form will feed into next season. I can't imagine the owners will be too happy though?
-
Hahahahahaha, I've just watched the best comedy show I have seen for a long time. This will be on youtube and will get more views than our 9-0 win over Southampton!
-
For me Rodgers talks a good fight, but he doesn't always follow through! We have to stick with him though, what other choice is there?
-
He's too young to kick out yet!
-
1 - Dominic Solanke has scored his first Premier League goal for Bournemouth with what was his 37th attempt in the competition for the Cherries (39th appearance). Relief

I have to live with my son after this, he's a Chelsea fan, for his sins!

Financial Overview of Leicester City
Le Renard replied to ProfitsonTarget's topic in Leicester City Forum
King Power, if wise will not have put all their eggs in one basket, so if their duty free business suffers they will have other investments to make money! The super rich will make money out of this crisis; look at Chelski and their spending, Abramovich made his billions out of disaster capitalism, so I suspect all this spending at his club is due to making a ton of cash out of the Coronavirus misery. -
King Brendan ...... ohhh how lucky we are
Le Renard replied to LinekersLugs's topic in Leicester City Forum
Did I call you a hater? I don't think I mentioned you or anyone in my post! You can't deny there are some people on this Forum who are never pleased with the manager and want them sacked toute de suite. If there is an accusation to lay at Rodgers door, it would be he was too gung ho against Sheikh city & Liverpool, this has dented the confidence of some of the squad, who realised that they were not as good as they thought. Rodgers is trying to reninstall thath belief......whithout much success though! Quote Edit
