LCFC v Cov - Post Match Thread

We are still a work in progress, let's remember Marti has only been here for about 2 months. He made changes today bringing back important players who will improve the team in the long run & I'm sure further changes will be made, the reason certain players have not been selected previously is probably down to the uncertainty with the transfer window. We still have weaknesses, Mavadidi is way out of form, Thomas offers nothing going forward & very weak at times defensively,, Soumare does not have the ability to play the killer pass & will probably never score, Ayew would be an excellent option as sub. So I anticipate in the next few games to see more of Monga, Kristiansen, Ramsey & Julien. No need to panic there are still 40 games to go & I like Marti & I'm sure we will keep improving -
I was just starting to get some enthusiasm back for the club & really looking forward to tomorrow's game, then this bombshell appears. I was so looking forward to him leaving at the end of the season, along with most of the other deadwood. Why O why, the lad is useless & it's such a depressing thought that he could be seen as our regular starting left back

We've got to win this, mainly because I can't stand Frank Lampard

Any chance anyone could actually tell us the result 7 goalscorers (if any) -
My team the Bucs win a thriller at Falcons, they were brilliant & awful in equal measures but a divisional away win is all that counts. I think it's going to be a fun ride following them this season

Glad you enjoyed it. We do seem to have a problem with some of the tees, I think they are planning to revamp some of them but as always it's money. Sorry you had an issue with wearing your cap in the clubhouse. It is actually a club rule, but you wouldn't know that so a bit unfortunate. Believe me it is not a snooty or stuck-up club, exactly the opposite actually

All this hatred towards Winks because of where he lives is absolute rubbish. I remember a few years ago that quite a few were commuting daily from the Manchester area. The names that spring to mind were Schmeical, Drinkwater, James, Simpson & others, didn't work out too bad with them did it! I think even the beloved Pearson used to commute from Sheffield daily. Winks is our best midfield player & should be a regular in the team. Whilst I'm on this hatred subject, I don't get the vitriol for Faes. Again, he's our best defender & should be in the team. Get those 2 in alongside the new signings & I reckon we have a hell of a chance of promotion. It just seems that some people are only happy when they are slagging certain of our players off

I'm a member there, although I haven't played for 12 months, arthritis & other ailments sadly. I have walked the course a few times lately & the fairways are very fiery, although not in too bad a condition. Heavy showers over the last few days may have softened & greened them up hopefully. It used to be a nine hole course, which is the front 9. The back nine has now been open for 30 odd years & has matured nicely now. Contrary to what Howards said I actually prefer the back 9, but it's all opinion. It's quite a tough course as a lot of the greens are raised & difficult to judge the yardages. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, the setting is wonderful, in the middle of Charnwood Forest, close to Bradgate Park & not a house anywhere to be seen while you are playing. if you need to know anything please feel free to ask

Victor Kristiansen (an option for Forest, Percy.)

Agree with that but I think VK offers more in attack which we really need from our full backs -
Play suspended - Fog. Bugger

absolutely marvellous

Just shows how deceiving stats are. He's useless

No idea about the score, although I expect a tougher game than Preston & a defeat. However whatever happens I see no reaction from the players if we do score. They don't care & don't celebrate goals, just see Huddersfield & Ipswich

Instead of playing these games at the palace of Seagrave, why not play them at the King Power where more people could go & much easier to get to. Even the Dog & Gun at Whetstone would be better, I went there a few times in the past & we always got decent numbers -
I agree - as long as it's another club's team sheet

Another one of the many that I never want to see again

Anyone would think they didn't want anyone to know the 21's existed. No You Tube & a 499 capacity stadium in the middle of nowhere. Just when you thought this club couldn't get any more incompetent........... -
