I understand there is a place for a decent tackle in the game but this is a yellow card (at least) all day long. You have to be physical and understand it is a contact sport of course but these ball then man tackles are (and should be) defined as cautions in the latest rules. The best tackler in rest years, Kante, rarely goes to ground and I don't remember him taking ball then man. The issue is this new idea that referees should be allowing the game to flow more. I'm all for that with the niggly fouls but last night I thought Burnley crossed the line and took advantage of the allowances to be overly physical in the tackle. I think some managers, Klopp, do have a point on this one.

Always wanted the ball, linked up play, wasn't afraid to run past the forwards to create space or get in crosses. Think he's been injured at the wrong times but also think he hasn't had the minutes he should of. But on the other hand we've had success so difficult to be too critical of selections! Reminds me of Iborra in the fact he hasn't had the game time and maybe we've missed a trick with him, moved on too soon?

Who knows? When was the last time he didn't actually play in one of our matches!? Rhetorical question before anyone actually says when! I do agree though, I am fairly calm and think a new contract will be announced next week.....

Firstly it was great to be back, enjoying the game and seeing so many happy fans. Atmosphere was OK, yes not amazing but it's a strange time. Stewards were all helpful and pleasant, club gets a lot right and a warm can of Fosters or a bottle of water was fine, thanks for that. And a win, great stuff. But inside the concourse the club is getting so much wrong. It's laughable. I have forwarded my thoughts to the club previously and on the current request for feedback on the latest plans by the way. Not just on a fans forum! We are in the North Stand and moved to the "new" shrunken family section. - Catering team needs binning off ASAP. Yes we signed a contract with whatever the company is called. Do we know when this ends? Can't the club buy it out? They are simply horrendous. Don't blame the people working there, they are temporary staff, on minimum wage with little to no training. It's hopeless, the product offering is terrible and the wait times are ridiculous, before the match it's bad, but half time don't bother! - Get in independent companies who care for their product and service, look for small Leicestershire based companies who run individual stalls. They will care and they will improve the offerings 5000%. Even bigger companies who know how to run an outlet would improve things. - Vending machines - easy to stock, easy for customers, reduces queuing, a complete no brainer. Install some. - A drinks only bar - spread the load, speed up the process, cater for the ones wanting a beer only. - Toilets - these are as bad as things get. No soap, no hot water, no hygiene levels. We are coming out of a pandemic, but who cares. Just pile in and straight out. - One way signs - don't put stickers on the floor - who reads them? No one - did you know there was an entrance and exit to each toilet? It was marked on the floor.... - Space - not much space, cram everyone in. I looked at it and there would be no issues at all with installing a second floor where the stairwells spin round. A mezzanine floor would go in there without any issues, at a reasonable cost and allow space to drink, eat, sit, enjoy your pint. Anyway I did enjoy being back.

We have a Covid isolator in our party and the club had no problems refunding the ticket. Which we then bought for someone else to come now it is on general sale. The only issue is getting through on the phone lines, in fact getting into the queuing system is hard enough!

Apparently not: The renewal process for Season Tickets in the Family Stand will begin on Friday 28 May. As well as being invited to renew your seats, families in Block P and Block P1 will be invited to relocate to available seats in Block P2 or Block P3 during this time. Think its just a case of being patient..... I'm sure the club have a fool proof system set up.

Anyone had any luck relocating from P or P1?

Well this is not the best process for relocating to the new family stand......

We are in P1 and have to make the decision to either move to P2/P3 or keep our seats in the now non-family section at £30ish more per seat per season - not that much! Hopefully there are 5 decent seats in P2 to possibly move to as our P1 seats are spot on behind the goal. At least we have options and understand why they have to do it. Expansion required of course but it has to be timed right. Having attended yesterday I will say we have not used the time off well at all to work on the concourse, toilets and other areas. It's an open goal for me to improve these and there is little to no COVID safe precautions put in other than a few posters on the walls!

I thought Mike's prize task was one of the best Taskmaster moments, up there with Tim Vine's lost hook and Joe Wilkinson's potato throw. Loved it. I think next series line up looks good.

Brilliant day out Saturday, one I'll never forget! Interesting one, when we got back one of our boys asked what it was like to watch Fofana and Castagne live - hadn't realised we have never seen them play in the flesh before (for Leicester - not Atalanta!), but we have got so used to seeing them on the TV! As it turns out I thought both were excellent, Little Wes was up there with Youri and Kasper for man of the match!

We had 4 seats and only showed those 4 together, so limited choice but very near season ticket seats! Happy days.

Definitely this. You would not believe how many teams on Facebook are looking for specialised goalkeepers from U7s! Let the kids play and learn. Yes we all want to win, yes different people have different skill sets and attributes, but I am a great believer in rotation and progression at young ages. As for my view on LCFC's academy from my dealings with youth footy and my lads involvement; some very good coaches, some not as good, facilities and equipment spot on. But their organisation is not always of the standard you would expect from a top Premier league club - or even a well run grass roots club. Room for improvement and I am sure that is on the Agenda.

Very impressive. I've been doing a 5K challenge each month with work since lock down, not a distance I've tried before. Got down to 23:13 now and think sub 20 is a long way off!

Agree on the virtual closed shops - at least there is opportunity for someone to break the "status quo" they were as you say trying to ensure. I also find the hypocrisy of a number of involved parties very amusing. Sky for example seem to forget their on going big 3/4/6 narrative long enough to preach to us all about how football should operate!

I agree not the best example but it does highlight that in each of the last three seasons there has been a first timer in the Champions League Final. Spurs, PSG and now Man City. Not the best advert for a closed shop competition.

Watching Mahrez at Man City now, he works (a bit) harder and spends a lot of the time doing the simple thing and keeping the ball rather than taking his man on. I think Pep has worked hard with him to pick and choose his moments in the right areas. To me he looks even better now unfortunately, like when the five a side show pony (every five a side has one) who learns to pass to his team mates.

I've had a bad left knee now for twenty years, injured it playing football and am far too big and heavy for the running I do! But I want to keep running through it as the fitness gain feels like it outweighs the niggling aches and pains. I swear by a Patella strap now. Sure it is mostly in my head but might be worth looking at something similar if that helps?
