He's been poor for a while now. There are plenty of young strikers who are better and who we can sign permanently.

Miliano Jonathans - 20 year old left footed RW who reminds me of Mahrez Signed last week by Utrecht for €300k, shows how much we are overpaying for players. -
Club forcing a 30 yr old player out due to high wages and we're chomping at the bit to sign them.... I genuinely wish there was another club with a DoF as incompetent as John Rudkin as they would be signing all our dead wood off us.

Commentator pointed out he got the better of Slot in the head to head when they were at PSV and Feyenoord. Difference being he had the superior squad then and a vastly inferior one now. If we back him properly there's no reason he couldn't be able to keep us up. Also no Cooper would not have gotten more points from the last 5 than Van Nistelrooy considering Hermansen has been injured for 2.5 games and the difficulty of the fixtures. Cooper being able to grind out points is a myth, he got 6 from 4 games against relegation rivals where he bottled the Crystala Palace game and 4 vs good teams. The Bournemouth game is really his only properly good result. -

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
honeybradger replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Doesnt matter how many goals he scores for us, his defensive work and all round play is shocking. Cant wait until he's just a bench option for us. -
Ward got his chance at Newcastle and made a meal of it. Stolarczyk is our Nr 2 and has been since last season.
-
£20mil for a £2mil player (almost being generous). We wouldn't have been any worse off had we not signed any midfielder and just given Choudhury the minutes. We will be counting down the years until his contact runs out sadly.
-
But then if jakub gets injured we have to play Ward.
-
Hopefull he can keep putting in these kind of performances at PL level. With his ability to collect crosses he might end up a more complete goalkeeper than Mads.
-
He made 1 good save, the 3 he let in were unacceptable though.
-
I would be happy if he brought Simpson Pusey with him.
-
Solanke and Evanilson are having good seasons though and are both playing regularly. Vardy is also having an excellent season considering the circumstances he's in. There is simply no criticism that makes sense because he's actually done well for us so far this season. No other striker would get criticism from our fans for 6 goals and 3 assists at this point in the season. It's just because he set the standard so high.
-
I agree but not in the way you meant it. He's still too good to be playing for relegation candidate Leicester City. There's a weird section of our fanbase who keep trying to write him off at every opportunity, it's been happening for years. It's like a fat, smelly, ugly bloke trying to tell his super model girlfriend that he's too good for her, then when she finally leaves him he cant find anyone half as good. He still has the same goals assists as Solanke who plays for Spurs alongside better players and cost £60mil. He has more goals and assists than Evanilson who cost Bournemouth £60mil. (And plays with better players) More goals and assists than Liam Delap who our fans are crazy for.
-
He has 6 goals 3 assists already this season. At the start of the season we would have been happy to have a striker reach double digit goals and it looks like he's going to do that. Our fans would be wanking themselves silly if we signed a young striker like Liam Delap or Evan Ferguson but Vardy, even in his old age, is still better than the both of them.

We're in a position where for every good purchase we make, we make 4 bad ones. If we sell one of our good purchases in Hermansen then there's a risk that the players funded by his sale are not up to standard.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

First 2 games he stuck with Ndidi and Winks as they were the established players here and got a good result against Spurs. After the first loss he brought in Skipp for the next 5 games as a starter until he lost faith in the Southampton game and only brought him back in against Chelsea due to Winks's injury. Seems to me that he had plans to use him as a starter but just lost faith in him. Similar to how Rodgers wanted Vestergaard but stopped playing him pretty quickly. -

Sadly couldn't find one that explicitly stated that Steve Cooper pushed for Skipp but Skipp said his relationship with Cooper played a part in him joining. Considering Cooper has signed players from his U17 world cup winning squad at all of the clubs he's been at I dont think it's a coincidence that Skipp was our marquee signing under him. -
We spent £90mil on the defenders/goalkeepers in our squad yesterday. I'm not sure Man Cit's defence is any worse value for money.

Why is everyone forgetting that Cooper contributed to this awful squad? Olive Skipp for £20mil - made a priority target by Cooper Ayew for £5mil Cordova Reid He was also pushing for us to bring in a finished Zaha for £10 mil for 1 season! The squad was only going to get worse under Cooper, we had to get rid before he bought in further rubbish in January. -
No longer seems to be able to make the passes into midfield that he was making last season. Not sure if it's because we no longer have a system that opens up the space or PL players are just better at closing down the passing lanes. Made the pass through to Vardy a few times though.
-
If booing from the fans prevents Ward from playing another game that he would have otherwise have started then that is just as important to our survival as getting behind the team and lifting them to a draw/win. It's not toxic, it's not tinpot, it's our duty as a fanbase in order to give us the best chance of staying up.

Wolves 0-3 H Post Match Thread

He's not looked good under Van Nistelrooy to be fair, the west ham game in particular he kept on dribbling into trouble. I would still start him ahead of Ayew though but can see why he wasnt picked. -
I would definitely take him back, that 2018 transfer window completely hoodwinked our fanbase into thinking we were a well run club with how good it was.
