  1. Just because Cooper communicated well with the fans but didnt perform well for us doesnt mean that fan communication is pointless. The ideal manager would have good team management and manage relationships with the fanbase well as well.
  2. To be fair arent Copenhagen the richest team in Denmark. We would probably have better luck going for talents from less established teams. That being said Ousmane Diao at Midtjylland looks good.
  3. Signed for £4.5mil in 2023 by Udinese, wasnt anything special last season and has been injured for large parts of this season. How are they now asking for £16.5mil? If he was bought for £4.5mil from a Danish club then maybe we should start looking at buying players from Danish clubs instead as Serie A teams are absolutely rinsing us.
  4. Another funny stat was that over the 19/20 and 20/21 seasons we were in the top 4 more than any other team, including Liverpool and Man City. As we all know we finished 5th both seasons.
  5. Might be true, might not be. The only information that we have says £90k a week.
  6. https://www.spotrac.com/epl/crystal-palace/cap/_/year/2023 Every source I can find says £90k per week. I dont know if we are paying all his wages or not. Edit: foxesofleicester.co.uk says we are paying 100%. Dont know if they are reliable or not. https://foxesofleicester.com/posts/who-highest-paid-player-leicester-city#:~:text=Winks is comfortable with the,and he earns no bonuses.
  7. It's £90k a week though, not too far off, not sure if we're paying all of that. Dont know where he got the loan fee from though.
  8. Surely we cant be considering spending £16m on a player who has spent most of this season out injured.
  9. Watch us pull off one of the greatest transfer windows in our history then sign Jan Bednarek and Jack Stephens for £10mil a piece in the summer.
  10. Ben Godrey is awful though. Fair play to McKenna if he pulls some black magic and turns his career around but I'd rather not sign anyone than sign him.
  11. I'm happy that theyve gone on to have good careers. For every minute we gave Bassey we might have persisted with players who fell off the earth like Darnell Johnson.
  12. If Vichai was still alive we would have seen a similar decline. We were still: 1. Giving ridiculous contracts to mediocre players. 2. Overpaying on transfer fees, ie. Ghezzal, Ward were signed under Vichai. 3. Cocking up transfer windows ie. The window after the title win, failing to register Adrien Silva. 4. Getting rid of key staff members brought in under Pearson ie. Sports psychologist I feel sorry for Top because our decline is blamed solely on him but it was actually longstanding issues that we had before his Dad's passing that have caused the mess we are in now. They just came home to roost soon after he took over. Would Vichai have gotten rid of Rudkin by now? Probably. Was he as great an owner as he was made out to be? No, we had our success under KingPower but the underlying mismanagement always meant that it was unsustainable.
  13. No point getting mad at Italian teams for screwing us over. It's our fault for overpaying for players, if we buy at market value then we can sell easier. Italian clubs were looking to pay half of what we paid to Atalanta but we came in with a massive wad of cash to seal the deal. It's no surprise that 6 months later they dont want to play double what they were before after going out of favour here.
  14. Alves starts and Monga first team debut please.
  15. So essentially "we were in league one once". Meanwhile actual historical third tier clubs in Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford are consolidating themselves in the PL due to their excellent management off the pitch. Now we have to accept the fact that the ownership are spending massive amounts of transfer fees and wages on mediocre players, jeopardizing not just our position as a PL side but the financial future of the club. We need to get into our heads that at this rate of decline we wont even be a yo yo club in a few years time, especially with points deductions looming in the EFL next season.
  16. Augustin Soria (Uruguay) is a South American right back who can also play in midfield that we could potentially sign on the cheap Recreated Ricardo's goal vs man city in the first clip as well.
  17. Would be a ridiculous signing but apparently Aston Villa have bid for him. No chance he comes here if they're seriously pushing for him.
  18. There was nothing in the way that he played that you can criticise so you have to criticise the way he looks. It's getting ridiculous now, a certain section of our fanbase need to lay off the bloke.
  19. Not sure what he can do when we conceded one goal from the right and the other from the middle. Some better defending from his teammates and everyone's praising him for a good performance.
  20. Cooper was terrible. The difference is that we played the relegation sides under him whereas we have only played competent teams under Ruud.
  21. Hopefully that goal gives him some confidence as he desperately needs some.
  22. Kind of have to stick with him now.
  23. Did you watch the game? He was fine today.
  24. Actually a decent game from him to be fair.
