Not quite a must win, but we need at leasr a point from this. Hermansen Ricardo Faes Vestegaard Justin Winks Casadei KDH McAteer Mavididi Cannon

Allowing dust to settle for a day or two. Thought we were poor 1st half, but no way near as bad as some are making out. Sending off obviously hugely changes the match, and what became apparent is that we have no plan of how to play with 10 men. Would have been interesting if it was still 0-0 to see if that changes, but it was an obvious back against the walls job from the start of 2nd half. Thought we actually defended really well until their equaliser, and then it was inevitable. Obvious huge work to do on changing things when down to 10 men, and Enzo got his subs (or lack of) wrong for me. He's still at the beginning of his managerial journey though and these elements will improve. One of those days, now its time to react.

Callum O'Hare on a free anyone?
-
I'm actually okay with both penalty and red card decisions...not necessarily in complete agreement but I can accept them. The amount of little decisions that went Coventrys decision 2nd half however was abysmal.
-
Plenty far too critical of him on here. He's a talented lad whose lost his way. Needs a move though, and probably a permanent one.
-
His run past about 3 or 4 Man City players in the Community Shield win that got me excited. Talented athlete, but he was far too lethargic during his time here to be given any credit.

Osame Sahraoui from Heerenveen
-
The messiah has returned!!!
-
If we can get him in for similar terms then we ship Praet out for, then it's a no-brainer. The fact he can fill in for Winks is a bonus too, we've been a little too reliant on his fitness so far.
-
He's completely unwanted at Inter and won't sign a new deal. We can pick him up for 2-4m in my opinion.
-
In fairness, his lack of appearances this season is more down to being unwanted at Inter. 28 appearances at Monzo the year before wasn't horrific. I think we could get him at an absolute snip but I'd be worried of the wages he'd likely command.
-
Oosh, big move that. Yes injuries are against him but in fairness to Enzo he's shown an ability to manage players with a poor record in that department. See him more as an 8, but could fill in the Winks role against weaker sides.
-
Kelechi, Praet and Thomas to leave then? Maybe Ward and Souttar on loan too. I'd imagine would give us around 10m to spend on a decent "number 8"
-
2-2 draw. Coventry in really good form and Robins knows how to set up compact and counter well. These and Leeds the toughest sides for us to face. The usual 11, Casadei for Wilf.
-
Also pushes squad depth into the picture more...only suits us.
-
It's a shit draw, other than being at home. A few all PL ties though, with a bit of luck in future draws we could easily get to the QF here
-
I agree, it's a wilf replacement we need. O'hare could work as a KDH backup but I'm actually relatively confident Akgun will get there in that role.
-
I think he's talented enough to really boost those numbers in a more attacking side. However, I do wonder if we've slightly changed our style a little and we play with more of a 10 now, usually KDH, sometimes Akgun. If that's the case, then we really need that box to box 8 player to replace Wilf. Which O'Hare definitely isn't.
-
The Callum O'Hare shout on @BSLBPod this week is a great one. Really good technician, not the best injury record over last couple of years but imagine we could make the most of his contract situation.
-
Good lineup, buzzing for Nelson to get his first start. Ideal world, we can whip Ricardo off after an hour or so. I'm pretty confident this side gets the job done
-
Enzo to turn him into prime Yaya Toure as an 8. I'm of course joking, even despite his capabilities at times, his lack of effort is hideous and I'd happily see us shift him out for close to nothing.
-
If Enzo is right and we have to sell before we buy (it would make sense), time to get Praet and Kelechi out the door.
-
I don't have too many issues with Vestys pace or defensive ability in the prem. My main concern is while he's excellent on the ball starting play from an advanced position, I think he can be pressed deeper in his own half, and naturally we will be pushed back far more next year than we have this year.
-
I'd be happy with a squad next year of: Hermansen, Stolaryczyk Ricardo, Justin, Faes, Coady, Vestegaard Hamza, Winks, KDH, Yunus, Ndidi Fatawu, Mavididi, McAteer Daka, Cannon. A new starting CB to come in for Vesty A new lcb/lb A new fb to tuck into midfield ala Ricardo. 2 new Central Midfielders (Wouldn't mind one of these being this Jan) 1 new Winger New starting CF
-
A subjective shout of course, but our most important ever player for me. Promotion back to the PL is the perfect send off. Hopefully he can then go to the States or similar for a final payday.
