  1. No idea what the set piece coach does on the training ground. Was gobsmacked to see DCR and Thomas trying to mark their 2 tallest players from corners. Watching DCR trying to stop his bloke was painful. Literally trying with all his might to stand his ground as the chap just walked forwards without any aggression at all. Was like watching a 5 year old trying to push over an adult. Who comes up with these ideas?
  2. Completely agree. No idea how he hasn't come under much more scrutiny. We've been unfit for years. Tielemans is a prime example. Looked massively overweight for us. Goes to Villa doesn't play, presumably because Emery wasn't happy with his fitness, and then eventually returns looking 2 stone lighter and starting nearly every game. This season we've been a disgrace. Literally outrun by every team. It's not even an observation, the stats back it up. Got to seriously question Reeves given the facilities at his disposal.
  3. There's next to no chance we are staying up but Rowett owes it to those who will be here next season to at least give it a go over the next 3 games. If he starts any of those on their way out I'll be livid.
  4. You just know the club will do f@#k all about it because Jonny boy wouldn't want to upset the player's. Disgusting from Winks. Had a shocker today. Should take it on the chin like a man and reflect on the situation, rather than behave like a 5 year old.
  5. Need to get a few hundred of us together (I.e. those that actually give a damn) and organise a trip to support another local EFL team (Notts County, Lincoln, Northampton, Chesterfield, Mansfield, etc.) for one game in our Leicester tops. Pay a local photographer to take some photos and get them distributed to the mainstream media. I guarantee we get the attention of the media and the narrative will not look good for the club.
  6. Is Mukasa intentionally trying to relegate us? Guy should be nowhere near the 1st team after last week.
  7. Finally a shot on goal
  8. For a team that have to win this game, we are asking nowhere near enough questions of Pompey. Big 2nd half ahead. Play like this and I'll be furious.
  9. They look really up for this, whereas we look petrified.
  10. These combined with the other stats. How has no one looked at these and recognised that there's a serious problem?!?
  11. Those stats on sky are absolutely damming. Disgusting from this group!
  12. Where have you heard that from? Someone mentioned to me at the game that there were rumours he might be gone if we lost, though hadn't heard anything to suggest that could be the case. Would seem stupid given it'll take 4 games to appoint a successor, but then I remembered who we are as a club.
  13. New one from me based on Oasis - Bring it On Down: Going Back Down - Why are those boos ringing out again? Those banners are a blur, you ungrateful lot are insane Why are those boos ringing out again? Jon isn't the Bad Cop, so who you gonna find to blame? I'm the outcast – you're the underclass But I don't care – because I'm living fast I'm the un-invited guest who stays 'till the end There's a PSR problem and we cannot spend I know you talk 'bout me but please don't boo I'll be scraping your life from the soul of my shoe tonight. Going back down. Going down the leagues Big debts to a crooked bank The size of which you won't believe Going back down. Going down the leagues Docked points by the EFL A deficit we won't retrieve! I'm the outcast – you're the underclass But I don't care – because I'm living fast I'm the un-invited guest who stays 'till the end There's a PSR problem and we cannot spend I know you talk 'bout me but please don't boo I'll be scraping your life from the soul of my shoe tonight.
  14. How are we always offside so much?!? It's like watching an under 6s game.
  15. I thought the last time Sheff Weds all but consigned us to League 1 was bad, but this is a new low given the circumstances.
  16. Begrudgingly I will renew. Feel somewhat annoyed with myself for doing so, as my views aren't aligned with the KPFC lot and agree with those that say that by renewing it just reaffirms the clubs stance that they are doing nothing wrong. However, I've been in and around the same group of people for over 15 years and they're all really decent people who I enjoy seeing at the games. I know if I cancel, and one day in the distant future KP we're to sell up, I'd never be able to get back amongst them guys due to us being located in a popular area. Having previously held a ST in an area where the people around me were annoying, I really value this.
  17. Could be disastrous if Pompey pull a rabbit out of the hat and win their game in hand. Gap starting to open up now.
  18. Wouldn't work. Daka would take a shot and intercept the missile
  19. If they impose penalties for non attendance then I'll cancel my season ticket and take my money elsewhere. The fact this is even up for discussion is ridiculous when the club is so disconnected from its fanbase, there are 000s of empty seats, and both the occasion and product on the pitch are horrendously bad. Why would anyone attempt to offer their ticket to someone else or re-list it for sale knowing full well there won't be any takers. Add in changing kick off times, most of which are awkward to squeeze in with family and work commitments; if anything the fans should be compensated for not being able to attend, seeing as we put our money upfront long before any fixtures were even published. I've followed this club for well over 35 years as a proud and caring fan. I've stood by the club through some very difficult times and taken crap off mates who ridiculed my choices, but regardless I've always felt connected to both the club and the fanbase as if they were family. Yet here I am, so disillusioned with the whole thing that I'm genuinely contemplating whether to buy a season ticket elsewhere (previously unimaginable in my mind) . The feelings of pride I once had, replaced by a hollowness for an entity I no longer recognise. One that cares not for past engagement nor its historic institutional identity. I could maybe forgive past mistakes if I genuinely felt that there was acknowledgment of the situation and some attempt to build bridges, but just like the performances on the pitch, it feels like for every step forward those in charge somehow find a way to take two steps back.
  20. Here's a new trance number for you guy's. 21. It's a game of opinions I guess, but I thought he was correct in his analysis. Mentioned the energy levels and pressing dropped off shortly after the goal, which was correct. Also talked about us trying to over play when we need to be more direct and put more crosses into the box. Again, I can't disagree with this, as we were always looking to score the perfect goal rather than play effective football. He seemed correct with his assessment of all 3 goals, and without openly calling him out alluded to his disappointment with Nelson. The comment regarding being able to trust players, suggested to me that he's given players the benefit of the doubt up until now and he feels some have let him down. Again can't disagree. That said I take your point, if he starts Ayew against Watford then he deserves everything coming to him.
  22. I was and still am livid after that performance yesterday. QPR were horrendous, never looked remotely close to scoring at any point during the game and yet we somehow gift wrapped them 3 goals. What was very telling for me yesterday was the mental fragility of the side. There was a point in the 1st half where Choudhury misplaced a few passes and a couple of groans were made from the stands. He flung his arm out towards the fans gesturing his frustration at their reaction. He's supposed to be one of the hardened characters in the squad yet he somehow let it get to him. I'm not being funny, but when you start out in junior Sunday League there's always a dad you hear utter expletives if you misplace a pass. You'd think after more than 20 years playing the game week in week out that sort of thing would go in one ear and out the other. The other thing I noticed was something Taylor-Fletcher brought up on the recent BSLBs podcast about when Blackpool played Cardiff in the Playoff final and Blackpool equalised, and he said all the Cardiff players heads dropped and immediately they (Blackpool) knew they'd go on and win. Same thing happened yesterday when the 3rd went in. The QPR players were walking back to their half like they were 0-10 up, laughing and joking, with a proper swagger. Even though there was plenty of time for us to get back into the game, I knew at that moment we'd lost. I thought Rowett talked a lot of sense after the game, his views were aligned with what I saw. He now needs to find 11 players who are going to dig in and fight like their lives depend on staying up. Sadly, aside from Skipp, JJ, maybe Lascelles (if he can ever stay fit) I don't think we have another players in the squad who he can rely on to do that.
