Well, don't really know what to say... mixed emotions is probably the best description. Anger, frustration, sadness, acceptance, apathy, embarrassment, lost, numb; to name but a few. I'm raging inside this morning, but I'm fighting myself internally. Am I raging because of the complete ineptitude of the board and it's mismanagement of the club, am I raging because our proud history will once more be tarnished with League 1 football, am I raging because I feel completely disconnected from both the club and the morons who represent our proud city, or is it a mixture of all of them? The only way I seem to be able to comprehend what has happened is by reflecting, which keeps bringing me back to the questions; how did I feel last time we went down to League 1, and is this feeling any different? In all honesty, I probably did feel similarly. That was one of the lowest I've ever felt as a fan of our club but it feels wrong in some way to acknowledge this as the two scenarios are worlds apart. Last time we all knew it was coming, we'd circled the drain for years and quite frankly had no quality whatsoever. The players tried but they just weren't good enough. I was angry then because up until that point I was proud that we'd never played in the third tier, and suddenly the history books were being rewritten. This time my anger is a culmination of everything; poor attitudes, lack of effort, incompetence, denial, dishonesty, etc. from all involved; players, board, fans. It's been apparent for a long while that the club is simply broken. The highs we never thought we'd experience in our lifetime have directly led us to this point. Delusions of grandeur, arrogance, hangers on, evolved identity (I.e. no longer the underdog/working class background). Parallel's to the story of Icarus. Looking forwards, where do we go from here? The future looks grim to say the least. Reality really hit me the other day when Coventry were promoted and the headlines were 'That ends a 25 year absence from the top flight'. It got me thinking that we too could conceivably experience a similar absence, and if that were to happen, the next time I see us play top flight football, I'll be 70! Anyway, sorry to ramble not quite sure what the point of this post is other than to unload, however I'm keen to hear how everyone else is feeling this morning?

Last night seemed very supportive of Top and Rudkin, but just now basically said players lap up the praise from the fans when all is going well so should accept criticism when they are deserving of it. Went on to say that's the most fight he's seen from Winks all season.

No idea what the set piece coach does on the training ground. Was gobsmacked to see DCR and Thomas trying to mark their 2 tallest players from corners. Watching DCR trying to stop his bloke was painful. Literally trying with all his might to stand his ground as the chap just walked forwards without any aggression at all. Was like watching a 5 year old trying to push over an adult. Who comes up with these ideas?

Completely agree. No idea how he hasn't come under much more scrutiny. We've been unfit for years. Tielemans is a prime example. Looked massively overweight for us. Goes to Villa doesn't play, presumably because Emery wasn't happy with his fitness, and then eventually returns looking 2 stone lighter and starting nearly every game. This season we've been a disgrace. Literally outrun by every team. It's not even an observation, the stats back it up. Got to seriously question Reeves given the facilities at his disposal.

There's next to no chance we are staying up but Rowett owes it to those who will be here next season to at least give it a go over the next 3 games. If he starts any of those on their way out I'll be livid.

Need to get a few hundred of us together (I.e. those that actually give a damn) and organise a trip to support another local EFL team (Notts County, Lincoln, Northampton, Chesterfield, Mansfield, etc.) for one game in our Leicester tops. Pay a local photographer to take some photos and get them distributed to the mainstream media. I guarantee we get the attention of the media and the narrative will not look good for the club.

Where have you heard that from? Someone mentioned to me at the game that there were rumours he might be gone if we lost, though hadn't heard anything to suggest that could be the case. Would seem stupid given it'll take 4 games to appoint a successor, but then I remembered who we are as a club.
