Videos on local news here are horrible, plane cam be seen plummeting from the sky. Happened so fast that there was no mayday or emergency declaration to ATC. Child was probably at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, a remarkable facility. Awful, awful news all around.

That airspace is known to be highly congested and the need for security around DC makes it doubly challenging, but commercial pilots who fly in and out of Reagan National are given very specific flight paths, so there’s really no deviation on their end. Probably not too dissimilar from London City Airport.

Scratching my head, not because of merit, but because of MLS rules. MLS teams are permitted a max of 3 designated players (aka big money signings whose wages fall outside the MLS salary cap). Messi, Zaha (on loan) and Benteke are examples of other current designated players. Red Bulls look to already have 3 such players on their roster. There’s certainly ways around it, but it would make the deal more complex to pull off.

Net was hanging low, Tamworth players on each other’s shoulders to tape it up. Ange just having some fun to pass the time.

Credit to Ange, strong lineup and enjoying the occasion. Encouraging the home fans to keep up the banter while they fixed the net was nice to see.
