LCFC 0-2 Palace,post match thread
RowlattsFox replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Been busy tonight so not been able to follow the game but had a quick look in the match thread halfway through first half and it was all pretty positive. Best we've played this season was even mentioned You could write plenty but just not good enough sums it up much quicker. -
Whole club needs a positive result tonight to get people back on board.

Not sure what's the most annoying - us going after Villa cast offs (I know Marc Albrighton, before anyone says it) or the fact he probably improves us

LCFC will NOT face any charges for breaching PSR

Pretty pathetic we are celebrating this but get in there Now just need them to deduct everyone else some points so we can stay up.... -
Woyo Coulibaly - Says see ya and thank you.

I used to be excited when we'd sign someone I've never heard of, now I'm filled with dread But best of luck to him... -
Whilst Kristiansen hasn't been particularly great I feel we'd be fine sticking with him until the summer. Right back, centre back, winger, centre midfielder all a bigger priority for me
-
Barnes continues to have decent numbers yet a lot people always think he's shit it was the same here, myself included. He frustrated the hell out of me because he'd be god awful for large parts then pop up with a goal.

In our list if problems, I'd say Winks is pretty low down and the jump in on him after a bad day is so horribly modern football fans. We need someone physical alongside him whilst Soumare has improved and does have a bit of physicality, it doesn't look a great combination.

How do you define a club legend?
RowlattsFox replied to Torquay Gunner's topic in Leicester City Forum
Different types of legends for me. There is not a single definition. Some are for achievements, some for ability, some for loyalty and some because they cared and were my favourite players at that time. In Vardys case it's all of the above -
Exactly why it's ridiculous this is on TV.
-
If he's asked, what else is he going to say?
-
Imo if Alves was showing enough in training he'd be playing, he's clearly talented but noone is seeing enough to play him. Needs to go on loan, wherever it may be and see what he's got.

Good to win and let's enjoy it. But not sure we've learnt anything new.

QPR (H) - FA Cup 3rd Round - Match Thread
RowlattsFox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Good to know we are shit defensively against the lower level too. -
Why does he bother? Constantly pulling out of tournaments at the last minute. Bonus for Robbo though, chance of him winning it? I'd say he's up there with a good draw.
-
Ruud could've had 0 points if West Ham could finish and Brighton saw the game out. I didn't watch us against Man City and Liverpool where we were supposedly 'ok' but did against Newcastle and Wolves where we we abysmal (admittedly not helped by Ward) and Villa where we again, ok at best. Fact is we were shit under Cooper, and still are under Ruud

You can't always get recruitment right, but you can't afford to get as many wrong as have. Wages are something you can control, and this is where the board have got it horribly wrong. Huge wages to begin with and some ridiculous extensions, add our inability to get anyone out the door when they don't want to be here.

Cricket (None Leicestershire County Cricket Club)
RowlattsFox replied to leicsmac's topic in General Football and Sport
Don't need a test championship at all, just have a regular tour calendar where everyone tours every where at some point, for varying amounts of time. Part of the joy of test cricket is seeing it played in different parts of the world, don't need to see India v Australia every year. -
Greatest player never to play for us
-
The only time Everton resembled a football team was against us, made them look like peak Barcelona.
-
Man City get him for virtually nothing and can sell him for millions even if he's only average. That's their business model, hoover up young kinds and sell them on.
-
I think Top cares and hearts in the right place but he needs to change those around him in this crazy world of top level football. I would like to see how they would work with someone else running the football side of things before they sold up, because you never know what the next owners could be like.
-
How many wide players and forwards does McKenna sign? Seem to sign 3 every window. They are going to have some side in the Championship next season. What on earth has Philogene done to be worth £20m? Football is mad.
-
I have no idea about the man himself, but he's clearly out of his depth as a Director of Football of a Premier league football club, particularly around the financial side of things.

Someone will need to explain to me how clubs like Bournemouth can successfully manage FFP, or at least it seems that way. Sold Solanke but can't think any other big sales. They don't have trouble convincing players to join them.
