Interesting if that stat changes if you don't include 16-18 year old? Apprenticeships are a good option for anyone coming out of college as an alternative to university, there just isn't enough of them. Problem is when people come out of school thinking they'll get an apprenticeship, as they often think it's an easier option and also often don't have the English and maths requirements. I do come across lots of kids dropping out of apprenticeships, particularly in construction, often citing the companies have let them go due to lack of work or they've quit because they get messed around, not doing any actual training, basically just being treated as a labourer. Of course though, a lot of his lack of graft and work ethic in young people too.

It's not quite as easy as 'getting an apprenticeship' though, a lot of people are forced into university as there isn't enough apprenticeships. Even more so in certain areas. I see lots of people who want apprenticeships but unless they are able to travel or re-locate there isn't the opportunities for them. And I mean proper apprenticeships, not the shitty ones that you see in hospitality where its just an excuse to pay someone less.

Kane is not missing the chance to play against Andorra is he? Tried to think who might be 'rested' for the more difficult Serbia game but other than Rice I probably couldn't tell you the strongest team from that squad.

Not a great debut for Baker. Too simplistic to say that you can't judge someone on a decent spell in the hundred? South Africa look like a team who have just played a ODI series in Australia. And won for that matter, clearly a good team currently.

Maybe, I think Konate is a good defender. Don't know if it matters but guehi is generally a left sided defender and that's Van Dijk. Would've got plenty of games but konate/van dijk may have got the big games.

Interesting to see what happens with Guehi now. Could sign a new contract with a reasonable release clause but not guarantee of liverpool coming back for him.. Or runs hua contract and signs for Liverpool on a free. And to be fair I don't think he would have started for them right now anyway.

Can only judge in a few months surely? Happy with the signings today, but time will tell if they are any good. We have been better at getting rid of people but that's cos the bids have been there.
