Wrexham defended the wings really well. Both wingers had wing back, wide centre back and wide central midfielder all to get through.

Marti's analysis always seems fair but its no good being tactically aware once you have the benefit of hindsight. His comments don't match what happened in the second half and neither do his subs.

Julián Carranza joins on loan - Official

He's looked as many predicted. But hard when given 10 minutes. Not like we had all summer to find a striker, there had to be a reasonable loan option from a premier league club -
He was rubbish, as always he does get forward but he's never been able to link up well with anyone in front of him..
-
Benefit of the doubt with most things season bring Skipp on didn't need to happen. James was fine where he was and could've got Ayew on for Reid. Attacking options from the bench are awful and I'm convinced that's why Marti goes more defensive.

Never seen a team play walking football so much. Actually think Winks played well but him and Vestergaard just encourage this kind of slow play too much.

Never a penalty.

Widemen were awful, Fatawu lucky we have no competition for him.

Feels like a fifa camera angle for the Liverpool game.

Even if we'd won 1-0 it would've been rubbish. Not good enough to win games but not shit enough to lose them. Proper shit league, as seems by so many drawn games. Players going through the motions.

As long its been done professionally with grown up honest discussions I don't really have a problem with it. We had to bring the fresh blood of bowlers ahead of this Ashes tour so had to move Anderson and Broad on at some point, and time is right for Woakes too I reckon. Big fan of Woakes and has been one of my favourite England players in recent times, just seems like a top bloke. If he can stay fit Woakes will pick up bundles of county wickets. -
Golfers are an emotional bunch aren't they.

The injury point proving useful

Best thing about the ryder cup is moments for people like Shane Lowry.

These guys were hoping for a nice chilled afternoon

Shows why it's so hard to win in front of an away crowd when the momentum is in full swing.
-
Barely seen Aberg all day and he gets the point.

Needed to get them done before the last couple of holes. So much pressure to put for the Europeans. Comebacks always possible in singles. They've put so much effort into the last 2 days.
-
McIlroy and Scheffler would take a half now just to get it over with, neither look in the mood.
-
Has the half point for an injury been used before? Seems a bit open to abuse for me. Maybe should carry a sub around just in case.

Format means you don't really appreciate the level being played, well I certainly don't as a casual golf viewer. You don't get to see how far under par someone is. Not a difficult course? Favourable weather or just an unreal standard? Don't think I've seen anything less than par. The problem with the crowd is they don't know the difference between banter and abuse, generally idiots trying to be funny but Americans don't have the knack. I've not seen all of it but all a bit pantomime for me.

Haha what a great league....

Following this thread is much more fun that watching the game.. Never cared so little about watching pur games..

I've not really seen how bad the pitch was, but could they have just got on with it for another 10 minutes. Adapt and all that. Blackburn should have invested more into the pitch drainage, Burnley managed to finished the game up the road

Worried about this, just struggling to go into any games with confidence despite a reasonable start. We need to up our game going forward tonight I think. Can't play Ayew up top, anywhere really but even more so away from home. I'd even have Daka up there just to stretch the game and allow some space for wide men.
