Personally think his role last season was over-rated, he did a reasonable job of what Enzo asked of him and was our 'best' option but we'd have been better if we'd upgraded him.

Wages might be lower now but can't see how someone wouldn't take a gamble on his on a free last year but will pay £9m now. He's a really limited footballer but I'd have no complaints if he's still here next season.

Would definitely accept him but you just know he's due a championship failure and inevitably it will be with us Similar to when Scott Parker was linked, vast majority were against the idea despite his record at this level.

That's true but for me if that stops him developing then he isn't cut out for the top level. Would hope he's strong enough to deal with that and take the positives.

Difficult in a clearly shite team but also evidenced whilst he hasn't been promoted to first time yet despite the shite playing for us. Don't think it's been a great year for goal scorers in the lower leagues, no real standout as someone you'd like to take a chance on. Find a gem abroad and maybe a good loan would be my bet. Comes with a risk though, and also requires some clever business.
