  1. I would think you would prefer old gold to shiney green
  2. Totally agree with you. When these selfish oafs do it I don't suppose they give much thought if we all did it with the cacophony it would result in. If I'm sitting in the garden or in a park etc the only singing I want to hear is the birds
  3. Imagine all the clubs fans hate around the country wanting them to disappear or whatever. End up with nobody to play.
  4. Probably lumbered with Man C away or Chelsea away
  5. Hardy and vital in our Victory
  6. Don't get the vapors
  7. Vennells and Van Der Bogerd. Not to be used as examples of females showing more empathy in business towards their employees etc
  8. I was aware Post Office senior management were at fault via news coverage but this programme was so good at showing the impact on these poor innocent Sub-postmasters and their families. Staggering the incompetence and refusal to even consider the fault was with the computer system. As you say a disgrace that honours and pensions handed out to the truly guilty responsible
  9. Still amazed and thankful we can look back on a simply wonderful player who was central to the major honours our club has won. Stayed when could have gone to Arsenal. Even if we had not won anything to have a player playing so many matches and scored so many goals in the modern game is fantastic. So often in the past a player would make a name for themselves only to go to a so called glamour club. Would love for he and Marc to lift another trophy in May
  10. Funny seeing the herd mentality at work where some forceful individual pushes the suspicion onto someone without any evidence while the real traitors play the all things to all people game. Don't dare to be too quiet or say anything unguarded
  11. My word he was brave, quick thinking
  12. Yes. Fame but no class
  13. Perhaps we can repeat what West Brom did in 1931. Won FA Cup and the second tier in the same season.
  14. I am so pleased with how things have gone when you consider the number of points gained in the last eight games played over 30 days.
  15. The FT splinter group
  16. Not if this is the way the part was written. Mind Jimmy Stewart is now known to have suffered PDST following his war service as a pilot and this film was made just after.
  17. Trouble with Twitter is that too many twits on it
  18. Yet still 3 points better off from than third than we were a month ago. Even with Saints good run in that time we were 9 above them but now 11.
  19. Understand the frustration but overall a point away to Ipswich as second placed team is not a bad result. Over the last six games we have improved our lead over them to six points from just one and over third place from eight points to eleven
  20. Good post. If you can't win don't lose
  21. Agree with this. Certainly for offside I look forward to the system and officials using VAR to improve. I'm still thankful it was in place for our FA Cup win and they got that one right.
  22. Hope fit for the match with The Black Cats
  23. 3 points on Boxing Team will help the festive mood
  24. A spanner in the works is their 1969 Fairs Cup Win something we would have loved at the time
  25. Put it this way. The Premier, FA Cup and League Cup all have clubs competing from level one. Even if clubs use weaker line ups in some matches or even if you won the Cup beating only lower division teams. This is why they are the majors of the domestic football in England and Wales
