Thank you for this. Written, I suspect from the head as well as the heart. I truly believe that KP see Leicester City supporters as a bunch of ungrateful plebs who know absolutely nothing about football.

I was working out the wording for a paragraph to summarise my response to what was a disappointing and ambiguous ending in Top's statement. Then I saw your response and I thought Yep, that covers it.

Funny?? I'd be ecstatic and p155ing myself all summer

Unexpected away wins roll call
DoveValleyFox replied to Paninistickers's topic in Leicester City Forum
That 3-1 Spurs win was a thing of beauty. A rare good game for Mark Bright who was struggling to find any form. I remember City fans singing 'Do you want to buy Mark Bright' to away fans later in the season because he just didn't cut it for us. Definitely an unexpected win and great for me as it was my first time at WHL. -
Unexpected away wins roll call

I went to the two Liverpool away 2-1 wins in the 80's. That 1981 victory felt like a cup win, like you say against all odds. It still ranks as one of the best and most exciting I've seen. I'll add Southampton away in 2012 when we won 2-0. Southampton were coasting to promotion and we were dull mid table. Even Matt Mills got on the scoresheet! It made for a nice midweek break on the south coast. -
Sadly, In those three's imagination we were still in the running for a CL spot until the days immediately prior to Rodgers leaving.

Most comically absurd last day outcomes
DoveValleyFox replied to Raj's topic in Leicester City Forum
PL bosses admit that Danny Ward is not a goalkeeper, or even a footballer. He was their teaboy and he blackmailed them into giving him registration after he witnessed some highly peculiar ritual goings on after hours in their boardroom. All goals against him are scrubbed and we are comfortably safe. The fact that Ward managed to fool Rodgers, Stowell and the Welsh FA comes as a surprise to no-one. -
The main award for the night would have been for Top, Rudkin and Whelan's complete inability in recognising the signs of an impending catastrophe.
-
And there was me naively believing that it couldn't be possible to ever see a see a goalie worse than Rab (can't jump won't jump) Douglas in a Leicester City shirt.
-
Was it the posh woman, the train fanatic or the team of Truro librarians who got it wrong?
-
Simeone must be peeing himself laughing at Rodgers right now.
-
I hope that the next permanent manager addresses this. I have never been impressed with Stowell as a goalie coach. If Stowell has to stay then demote him to the under 9's or something.

Yay no-one said Fox Leisure yet so..... Not Fox Leisure as they no longer exist.

Marsch on a three year contract would have been yet another ridiculous board decision. Benitez until the end of the season or even anothe full season would be much more palatable.

Is Rafa Benitez Better Than Jesse Marsch and Brendan Rodgers?
DoveValleyFox replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Definitely gives us a better chance than the other two so yes. If any of them can put out a more balanced team, play to strengths and organise a confidence shattered squad then I'd say Benitez is the best of the three. We need him fast, though because the owners' dithering and penny pinching is costing us more than ever. -
Is Jesse Marsch better than Rodgers ?

I guarantee that there will be several mini USA flags waving in the stands just as there were when Kasey Keller arrived. He reminds me of one of those tv evangelists that seem to be around over the pond. I told a Leeds fan mate just that when he arrived there. -
Is that you Top?

Home games against Villa and Bournemouth with very few games left and the owner/execs leave a well below par goalie coach in charge. Super effort.
-
I've never been impressed with him as a goalkeeping coach, never mind a first team coach.
-
Rodgers has been living off of us being a bang average team plus Vardy. This season we have been poor including Vardy. About sums it up for me.

Sadly the horse had to be shot within 10 minutes of it's first run out at Seagrave because it mysteriously went lame.
-
They would need a wheelbarrow to cart all of the crap away if dropping one on the statue meant an automatic stadium ban.
-
I admit that I was thinking that very thought as I wrote it.
-
It is a sobering thought that at Selhurst Park in 2016, and at this stage of the season our fans made headlines because of the singing long after the end of the game that we were going to win the league. How has it come to this.
-
You, my friend are going to get a stadium banning order. They know who you are.
