I enjoyed the Ipswich match much more than this laboured crap. Second half get Alves and Harry on. Maybe give the new CB a go too. Or If aluko is fit get him on instead.
-
Those experienced players we have bought in have proved that we don’t learn from experience.
-
I’d bring on Howell for burns and Alves for bob Reid.
-
As long as we play him as a starter I think that will be the best option for Page. If he signs for them he won’t be a regular starter and will likely be loaned out. United won’t be thinking about what’s best for the player just as the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool. His value is only going to increase. We need to think about player development for the interests of the club alongside the player. Exactly the sort of player and attitude we need.

Well better than expected and we kept going right to the end. Youngsters did well.
-
Some of the movement passing and bravery by the young lads in particular looks promising. Hope page and young Harry play at the weekend. Hope aluko is ok too.

If he has half the impact of JJ we will be very happy. Welcome aboard though Harry, wish you all the best. selling page just doesn’t seem right. If now is not the time to give the youngster minutes there never will be. -

He had his ups and downs here but he was an incredibly exciting player and always played with a smile on his face. He scored some wonderful goals so I thanks him for everything he did for us and wish him all the best in the future. Will be missed. -
I suspect they will and do we know if any psr issues for 25/26 incurs collaboration between championship and league 1 like we saw with the premiership and championship?
-
Don’t forget a decent striker.
-
Shouldn’t your dispute be with the person who made him captain. He hasn’t been of the same standard on the pitch in recent years but still a model professional albeit crocked by injuries.
-
Agreed. Given his conversion rate as well which over a sustained period was right up there.
-
Rudkin has no comprehension of honour.
-
Worse still we want to buy the players nobody wants. That’s what got us here. How on earth is Turdkin still here. As for the Macquarie deal…
-
My heart sank when he did it but I understand that jordan james has a bright future and his game time has to be managed after injury. If we had already been relegated then I’d hope that winks would not have been in the stadium. Now he needs to show that he has some integrity left. The other overpaid and underperforming staff and players should do the same. We all know they won’t. Let the games begin.
-
Yep and I think that the likelihood of that is higher and more imminent than some people realise.

I feel exactly the same way but I’d love him turn around and say he is joining and although it’s been a crap season he will fight for us and give it a go for one year in league one. Very unlikely I know as he doesn’t owe us anything but it would be a big step forward in our rebuild. We need players with passion ability and energy who will fight for the badge and hope that it becomes infectious. Either way he has been the bright spot of this season for us and that will not be forgotten. -
We look half arsed. Static and unapologetic.
-
Exactly but also how many posters on here berated those players. To be fair they were not the only ones and we have had a terrible two years. The problems start at the very top and down through the management chain. If we don’t sort that out we won’t ever start to see an upturn. Swapping KDH out for skipp was painful. KDH would have been so important to us this season and for what comes next.
-
We could have done with him in the rebuild. we did get a good market rate for him though. So many of our home grown talent have gone on to do well at other clubs. I wonder why.
-
No come on. Everyone knows we don’t have a defence. I stand by my views on lampard.
-
Get rid. Along with Topkin.
-
I’d take him almost over any of the ones we have had recently. Not that he would come near us at the moment. Definitely not shite.
