  1. Andy King speaks so well for a relatively new coach. Hope he’s backed and supported as a key part of the new managers set up utilising his experiences under Pearson and the squad that was built back then.
  2. Plot Twist when Ian Dowies face appears out of the dark 😂
  3. Media cannot be arseholed with us any longer. I think we are deemed an insufferable little club from Top to bottom to everyone outside of an LE postcode…
  4. Close the thread until there’s any concrete news. Nobody needs another Nicky Maynard thread. Some of these posts are horrorshow.
  5. Still relatively FA movement in the bookies… we really are that irrelevant nowadays.
  6. Ruud will be announced as ousted on 1/7. Kingy is taking pre-season with no new Manager yet installed.
  7. Good news. Investing in our future.
  8. Can you please go back to FM Ricey and get 25/26 out asap. I fear another delayed release this year with you there 😂
  9. Some stinkers on this list 🤯
  10. I was there. But I was also there when Russell Hoult came down from the Kop. I was there when Speedie dived, when Steve Thompson made it 3-3, when Claridge shinned it in, Savage v Edinburgh, Big Dunc on Freund, Chris Wood off his nose, Joey from the half way line, etc etc. But I’d give them all up to relive that dark hazy night in Walsall to watch DW single handedly secure the win on pens. The man. The myth. The legend.
  11. I don’t think based on the current squad we would be much of a challenge to anyone next season and I’m sure Gamechanger 20 and Co will see this so if I was Ipswich I’d be hedging my bets and pushing for the extra £3.5m now - better to have than to not….
  12. I’ve read several posts that wax lyrical about him, how good he is, how good he’s going to be, how solid he’s been - all I’m saying is just slow down… I accept we can be excited by his prospects but youth football is very very different to men’s football and he’s hand a handful of minutes so let’s not get carried.
  13. Genuinely feel a massive proportion of our fans are getting carried away with him. He’s not the saviour. As for those saying he looks calm and composed on the pitch and at home at KP he’s literally had less than a handful of minutes. Don't get carried away.
  14. Loved Muggleton, Hoult (early days being the Hot Dog Kid), Fulop, and always thought Mark Bunn would stay longer on loan and flourish but I think he played less than 5 games for us. But in my time watching City top table GK’s were Poole, Keller, Flowers, and Kasper…
  15. You could replace Howes with Daka and nobody would know if this was a letter sent last week or 100 years ago…
  16. You’re welcome Saints… we will make sure Derby keep that record for themselves. It’ll be our pleasure…
  17. Keep dreaming. RVN IS HERE FOR LIFE.
  18. Being hung out to dry. Smoke screen for the ineptitude of Top, Rudders, RVN and will only justify selling him to Leeds when they go up and we come down for less than we paid. Comments around JV being taken off at half time are borne out of the same Deflection manuscript. Next week will be another Okoli boot type scandal. Club stinks.
  19. Buys free kicks for fun
  20. Next Vardy 👀
  21. He resided over us winning the FA Cup…. He banks a ton of credit for that. On the flip side he also signed Vesty and Faes and stubbornness dug in towards the end of his tenure and he ensured he was pushed in order to walk away with cash on the hip. I’m very 50:50 on him. The biggest issue is Rudkin. He is always there. He always will be. I’m sure he’s a nice enough bloke but that’s not enough in top flight football. He can’t be that oblivious that he doesn’t realise fans hold him responsible for our downfall and he must hear the vitriol - imagine hearing people calling you a c**t in your own profession. You’d walk away or act to prevent it happening again or getting worse. However, his inaction suggests he doesn’t care, is stubborn, and has protection en masse from the hierarchy and that is now the biggest issue. We could go down to League 2 with successive relegations and I still think he’d be here. He’s going nowhere.
