  1. Whilst he's not been playing, has he been putting in extra practice with his right foot?
  2. What happens if we win a few games?
  3. Yes, but may provide the best return on his investment, and provided needed funds for other players.
  4. He wasn't pants. He was developing and had never played at Championship level before. Some games he looked decent, and in some it looked like the pace of the game was too much for him. The completely stupid thing is that when Chelsea recalled him, Ndidi was injured, so he would have had much more development with us than he got with Chelsea. But saying all that, there were rumours the price tag they put on him was ridiculous. There has been no development since he left us, so i think this is just noise.
  5. Presume this is agent talk. He missed half a season of development at a club that got promoted - it was stupid of chelsea to recall him. Not featuring at all for Chelsea at the moment from the manager who was desperate to bring him to Leicester. Not what we need right now.
  6. Doesn't Lamptey spend most of the season injured?
  7. More importantly, when will the first post complaining about lack of signings be made?
  8. They weren’t going to spend 15 mil on him though?
  9. Sounds to me the loan is doing its job and he should see it out.
  10. I said this in another thread, but thinks its relevant to this as well. If Ruud has wanted to coach his style, patterns and playing out of the back, he may have felt training with Ward was his best option between Newcastle and Wolves. Jakub wasn't fully fit, and Iversen just cant do the playing out the back part. It was likely a risk that had to be taken to get us to the type of performance we ended up with against Man City. The team can go into the Villa and Fulham games with some confidence. If you watched @StriderHiryu's latest video on blue tinted glasses, he shows some sublime build up play out from the back that we hadn't seen from a Cooper team. This has to have come from a few weeks coaching and will likely be even better when Mads comes back into the team.
  11. I think its coming together. Ironically, its the scoring bit causing the issues which wasnt the case earlier in the season, and this is where i have been wary about playing Vardy so much. Facundo should have scored at least 1 of the 3 golden chances he had and Vardy should have bagged at least once against Man City. The play in the last 2 is much better and the chances we are creating are better. I'm willing to put 2nd half of Newcastle and all of Wolves behind me down the the Ward factor. But, (and its a big but) if Ruud had to abandon coaching a style because of Iversens inability, then im willing to accept why they risks Ward for Wolves. If Ward could have played out of his skin, it would have worked. But i don't think we play like we did against Man City if we abandoned how Ruud wanted to coach to accommodate Iversen.
  12. We have to get out of our heads that everyone else is going to lose every week. The last set of results have had Southampton lose (Palace win of course), Everton lose, Wolves draw and Ipswich win. We can be expecting everyone in the bottom 6 to lose every week, especially when 2 of them are playing each other! Also, we are at that stage of the season where Spurs start playing like plonkers (and have no center backs), and Enzo's no 'plan b' starts to take shape. Lets start getting points and wins. Do that, rather than worry about the other 5 times in the bottom 6.
  13. Form is temporary. Some of the teams we have coming up (like Villa) aren't playing as well as when they came to the KP. Everyone midtable or who is ravage by injury or is overwhelmed with Europe fixtures is a potential to get points. Remember Brighton and Brentford towards the end of last season? They both went on horrible losing runs. Need to stop this 'we are done for mentality'. Its clear Ruud has a plan for how he wants us to play and we are seeing players like BEK come into to some serious form.
  14. Interesting game. If one team can come out the winner then it could kick start their season. For us, Villa aren't in scintillating form either so there is a chance for points in both the next 2 if we get things right. I know Man City are going to try and keep the ball, starve us of possession and wear us down, but i hope we keep going until the end even if we are down. This lot have let in late goals recently and are frail. Even if we are 1 behind we are in this game.
  15. Soumare isn't crap. Skipp doesnt make tackles.
  16. These will starve us of possession and wait for us to make a mistake. Everton rode their luck and took their chance, but i just don't see us being as disciplined as they were right now. We have too many mistakes in us and i think like in the Liverpool game, we can hold out for about 40 mins or so but not the full 90. I just cant see us 'having a go'. We will get opportunities on the counter and will have to be ruthless and pray that Haarland is still playing like a League 1 player. These guys are 1 game away from turning their season around.
  17. The stats are interesting if you are willing to accept what they are telling you. I switch off either when someone says they had an XG of 1 so ‘should have’ scored a goal. I also switch off when I get told about the ‘eyeball’ test.
  18. Class lad.
  19. Lol - did you see Édouard play? Like him or loath him, Patson does have a good goal in him, and a clanger. Your comment about Ayew made me laugh though. Most dont want him on the pitch but it sounds you would like 2 Ayews out there!
  20. This is the first game Jakob has been declared fit.
  21. Enzo had the advantage of a transfer window, preseason and a complete reset in the Championship. Ruud has come in at exactly the wrong time and been dealt a horrible hand with injuries. I imagine Ruud will want to be getting business done pretty quickly. We shall see, but im not willing to write Ruud off just yet.
  22. Unpopular opinion maybe, but Bilal is better and i presume they are seen as the same sort of player where one gets the non. Though Facundo looked pretty pony when he came on.
  23. Just pay off the rest of his contract and get him nowhere near the Seagrave or the KP again. He drains the players around him, makes the opposition feel 10ft tall and can't actually save a shot. Treat it like an investment - getting rid of something that actually messes with everything else.
  24. The problem is you don’t really get to see what was right about the decisions. Especially for their 2nd goal the lines made little sense.
  25. Dont think there is much to moan about there, other than Daka not connecting with that chance at 2-1. Every time we pushed forward they were all over us and quick to counter. They are just playing a different sport to us right now. Don't think Liverpool deserved 3, and thought Jakub was really good. Bilal great, FB pretty poor.
