Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

I can only presume that Daka has probably been quite vocal that he want to leave, so they arent using him unless they have to. Ayew knows this is the best he is going to get. -

My favourite moment in the first half was receiving the ball on his chest in the box. Just fell backwards. Unbelievable. -
My issue with this is that with 5 minutes to go, a galvanised team could have thrown everything at them to try and get the win. Half our team looked pissed off that we had scored, almost like we might have to put some effort on in the last 5 minutes. If a team equalises against us at the KP in the 90th minute, regardless who it is, i expect their players to go mental and give it everything for the remaining game. Why, just for once, cant we do that.

Utter garbage. Receives the ball in the box at chest height and just falls over. -
Then you pick Aluko. The guys a *****.

Vestergaard at CB and Okoli at LB (i presume). Okoli cant pass ,Vestergaard dictates the pace of the game. Ayew up top (if you can call it that). How the eff has it come this. Woeful.

Gunna get bummed aren’t we.

For the record - im not saying he isn't any good - he is clearly a great talent. I just not convinced anymore that he will go to the very top for a massive fee, which was the early prediction for him. I still think he will have a very good career in top flight football, and there will be many more exceptional moments for the highlights reel. He's mad as a box of frogs, so will always endear himself to fans on the pitch, even with some questionable Instagram content. I think 'being hung out to dry' is a poor excuse for bad overall performances from him. We are talking about him giving the ball away cheaply, terrible passing, very questionable decisions, and most certainly overusing his long range shots etc. Of course a good coach will get more out of him, although you have to remember under Maresca most of those shots were flying over the bar. There has to be some self discipine from him at this stage of his career. He's still the highlight of a visit to the KP, and fingers crossed there are more bangers to come.

Don't disagree with most of your points apart from the bit about Southampton. Minus a bit of a new manager bounce, they are worse than we are. They are 2nd from bottom in the 6 game form guide and 3rd from bottom in the 10 game form guide. Last league win was December 9th and are 4 points below us. Southampton are not showing play off form

Would be our first Fofana

On the counter at one point he drifted towards Stephy, then went behind him giving no outlet to pass to, rather than running into any space. Stephy then did a bit of a lazy toe poke backwards (looked frustrated) and we lost possession. Ayew seems to do anything but put the effort into to generate space. -
In his first games he was given next to no defensive duties and the senior players were seeking him out at the right moments. I cant remember the PL game i first saw him at at home, but he was allowed to stay high up the pitch and i remember seeing (i think) Justin and Soumare pick him our very carefully. All he had to do was use his tricks. As he has bedded into the team and even started, he's had to gradually up his work rate and part of that is the dirtier work that a 16 year old is going to really struggle with in the Championship. Over time, the other players aren't covering for him. Its a hard learning experience for sure. I reckon its still better than him coming on for 20 minutes with us 2-0 up and seeing out games. If we can improve, i think he will kick on for sure.

We arent interested in anyone. Its just social media sorts who make stuff up on our behalf. Can you imaging how depressing it must be to be one of our scouts?

And James as a 10 - the position he is least effective in.

Can't wait. Should be a hoot.

Premier League has charged LCFC with an alleged breach of PSR

No - i just work in the data industry albeit in a completely different field. I dont see how a source like this can be accurate as surely most of the contracts are confidential? They are surely still estimated, but probably with more credibility than the bloke next to me. -
Problem for teams like Palace, is that the good players transition into those roles over a few seasons. They got there bit by bit. Remember they had Zaha up front for a while. But when they succeed, end get into Europe, and they lose these players very quickly, there aren't the immediate replacements out there unless you pay more in transfer fees and pay more in salaries. The incoming players know what tournaments you are in. Either you pay over the odds, or you take punts in the hope that you can get by and kick on if the players are good enough. Lost a bit of respect for Glasner over him throwing toys out of the pram. He knows who Palace are. I felt the same with Rodgers.

How do you know they are more reliable? -
Seems to be a prerequisite now of being on anything like this. Made me chuckle that Stephen talked about being poor. Geezer works as a cyber security consultant and i reckon each outfit he wears costs a few hundred quid. That all in 1 jump suit was special and definitely not a tenner from Primark.

At the 3 swans for lunch in Harborough today and had a few pints of Langton Inclined Plane. It’s a bit old fashioned by today’s US style IPAs (I know it’s an Amber), but it’s a really nice easy beer and damn good value too. Must go back to the brewery soon as it’s a decent visit.
