Am i the only one quite glad he's staying? I actually think we've looked better when hes come on. Think Marti has been smart putting him on the bench.

'Could be one of Celtics potential targets' Its about as negative bullsh*t as anyone could write.

Is that how it works. I though you actually had to account for the book loss based on the transfer fee?

Turkey certain feels apt.

Did anyone know this was even a thing?

BEK is easy on the eye, and you have likely seen more because you watch him more. Whether he is better than the others is purely subjective at this stage. When buying talent at a young age, a number of factors clearly come in to play (english tax being one of those). However, I don't know if the other 3 you listed downed tools, was hugely disruptive behind the scenes and gave the club a move ultimatum. BEK has played a huge part himself in this transfer and I presume Marti has made it clear that he felt the player had to go if he was able to do something with this squad. We also can't compare with Isak and Wissa, who both have had outstanding PL seasons. BEK 'looking good' doesnt cut it in this example. Also have seen comparisons with Gnoto and Summerville. Again, we don't know the situations there but maybe Farke felt those players hadn't burned bridges yet and if the right offers didn't come in could be brought back in. There seems to be a story to be told about training in the lead up to Preston, the 1st half itself and what happened at half time. The team looked utterly deflated that day, and have looked significantly better since BEK was taken out of the squad. Market value is only based on what someone is willing to pay. The fact the PL clubs have looked elsewhere is damning for BEK. He might not care because he got his move, but unless he absolutely nails this season (thats in output, rather than style) then he might find the next moves much, much more difficult. -

Plot thickens here doesn't it. Taken off half time vs Preston after playing doggo. Rest of the team completely out of sorts for the rest of that game with very subdued celebrations for Mongas first senior goal, and the team not being able to see out the game. Marti appearing very (outwardly) professional, whilst rumours are rife that Bilal is playing snake. Last 2 games squad have appeared much happier and settled, even with playing a 17 year old in that position who (whilst having great potential) isn't currently as gifted or confident but appeared to be doing the job he was asked to do. Potential suitors (Palace and Spurs) pull out the race and only way to get the snake gone is a pretty lame loan deal. The british clubs clearly clocked him didn't they, and didn't want the hassle when there were other options around with better stats. -
Villa look crap

Walked straight into that, by a nose....

I felt he was booed again when he came on Friday night. If it wasn't then it was a sarcastic 'Woot'. Either don't sit well with me. I don't see what else he can do other than play. But i agree with you - he has looked great recent times he's been subbed on.

Wtf is going on.

Can someone put a video together of his goals and assists for us?
-
I've never done it. What you gonna do for me?

Loved watching him. But at least i won't have to wonder why he was getting so few goal contributions anymore. -
Football is cyclical. They will both burn out and go down at some point.

Personally the best night since Southampton home in the Championship. Nothing felt right last year. Yesterday felt we were nudging back to where we should be.

Brighton are Chelsea’s feeder club.

Be interesting to see if he does a lap of honour around the ground clapping the fans after the game. If he scores a deflected tap in we might see the somersault one more time.

Yeah, but, but, but, they might overrun us in midfield Or, we could make some noise and make Monga, Page, Stolly, Fatawu and Mavadidi feel about 10 feet tall. I don't doubt this one might be tight / difficult, but isn't a competition what people want from football. Let's give it some rather then whine that it might be a bit difficult. -
What do you think?

Because our fans are bigger pussies than our players.
