Think they're mixing up the way amortisation works. As in 50mill over 5 years is 10mill on the accounts per year. Thing is with sales it goes on straight away. Purchases are spread on the accounts sales aren't as far as I'm aware. So a 50mill sale this year goes on the accounts as 50mill, not 10 a year for the next 5.

In all fairness to the lad, he was a bit part player for us and given the fact they recalled him probably incorrectly thought he was going to get as much of a chance there as he was getting here. People wouldn't have begrudged Barnes for leaving WBA during his loan there to come back to us. Though he'd obviously done a lot more for them than Cas had for us, I suspect when you get recalled from a loan early it's because you think the manager at your club is going to give you a chance.

Well it's the Roma owner so presumably they'll agree a fee for the sale of Everton and when it comes to put pen to paper they'll say the price is too high and see if they can get it on the cheap. When they can't they'll probably ask if they can rent it for a year first.
