  1. Yeah I noticed that What about all the late wins and the pens not given against us alone!
  2. 3 minutes for subs at the moment. No goals. Ref has been on at Norwich for time wasting though so watch him add about 7!
  3. Commentator: ”You’d possible be more comfortable with a 2 goal lead” Na mate, I’d rather just have the one thanks
  4. How are the commentators trying to justify that not being a foul
  5. How are they moaning? Morsy pulled him back by his shorts. Not even a soft one, clear foul play!
  6. What a hit Nunez! Take a bow
  7. Early observations, Norwich hopeless in attack and no final ball. Ipswich hitting the deck at every opportunity contact or not.
  8. You’re wrong. Farke has done well and I don’t think Maresca should be nominated anyway but you do need to stop this narrative. A number of weeks ago, possible on this thread, I listed the dates of our key business and yours (the dates transfers were completed) and it was very similar for both us and you. You do seem to have this false impression we were all good to go but we weren’t. You didn’t acknowledge that when I posted that previously funnily enough… Edit, on the Leeds post match thread Ethan Ampadu - 19th July Joe Rodon - 10th August Joel Piroe - 22nd August Gruev - 31st August Kamara - 31st August Cannon - 1st September Fatawu - 31st August Casadei - 15th August Akgun - 26th August Mavididi - 31st July
  9. Hmm, there’s a pattern there… LLWWLL…..W?
  10. This is similar to what they do in the national league isn’t it? Possibly the team in second doesn’t go straight to the final. Something like 2nd and 3rd go to the semi final and 4th-7th play quarter finals first. Makes sense as it still gives the higher up sides a priority whilst giving other sides a chance.
  11. I agree neither Enzo nor Farke should be on there. McKenna is obvious. I do agree Rosenior on there though. Who else would you have on? I think of Wednesday manage to stay up, Rohl should have been. I notice the QPR manager mentioned above which is a good shout albeit they were massively underperforming with Ainsworth. Begs the question how these things can be shortlisted for with 6/7 games left and so much to play for!
  12. 100% yes to the playoffs for the reasons said, it keeps the league more interesting. I do think it could be set up in a way that gives a bit of an advantage to teams finishing 3rd (or 4th in league 2 etc). The National League have already done this in the fact the teams in the lower play off positions play first and the teams finishing higher join after. That for me works as more teams get the chance to go up but the team(s) that have done better over the season get recognition for that. I’d like to see that added to the Championship/League 1 and 2. The only other thing you could do that would be a bit more controversial would be to have a pre-set limit that all teams are aware of, that if the team in the highest placed play off position are, for example, 10 or more points ahead of the next placed, the system then reverts to straight promotion. I’m thinking such as Notts County last season who fortunately came up anyway.
  13. Depends if a different Norwich to yesterday show up! And yeah I know you’d hope so being a Derby and all, even without their own ambitions involved. How often do we keep saying they will drop points though? It just isn’t happening. They may draw a game but I just can’t see them dropping more than 5 points maximum.
  14. I agree it has gone past a point where you can point to luck when it happens so often. It is clear Ipswich are going up. Sometimes it is just written and you can tell the outcome. Fair play to them. It is about who can hold their nerve out of us and Leeds to join Ipswich automatically as both of us will not fancy our chances in the playoffs!
  15. Of course Ipswich got a 97th minute winner….the only surprise being the deflection was not directly into the goal but just into the path of the scorer! Think we just need to accept Ipswich will win out for the remainder of the season and just do what we can to finish ahead of Leeds!
  16. Definitely a game we grew into. Very poor goal to give away, almost like our defence just ran away from the ball. But, the reason I was really pleased after Hull even though we didn’t win was that we showed good character and mental fortitude to come back from behind twice and coming back from behind to win (for the first time since December I think they said), was great. Not getting into the whole Enzoball or not debate but what was clear was that we were playing with more urgency for much of the game today which has been lacking. Effort and energy is what we want and as shown today, the result will follow as we do have quality in the side. Doyle and Ricardo helped hugely also. The long switch of play passes really help our play.
  17. Kitching having a great game for Cov
  18. Replay angles weren’t the best to be fair but I don’t think he stopped the ball passing him.
  19. And Enzo can f*** off looking so miserable when we scored and doing a Rodgers and telling them to dial it back!
  20. That’s not a pen . Would have hit him in the stomach anyway. I’d be fuming if that was given against us!
  21. It just makes me concerned that you can predict exactly the side that would be named (barring any fresh injuries). Surely this means the opponent can know exactly who we are fielding and how we will set up which is very predictable anyway. Very easy therefore for them to have plan to deal easily with us.
  22. Well I didn’t see any of the Bristol City due to being away and having quite frankly, better things to do being out for the day with my wife and daughter. I definitely didn’t feel as crap as if I had watched the game by just checking the score later. Definitely tempting to do the same tomorrow….
  23. Definition of entitlement… the belief that one is inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment. Do we think this better describes those who demand that the players/management show a bit of effort and fight on the pitch or do we think this better sums up those with the ‘we’ll be fine and can carry on doing what we are doing and it’ll be fine’ mindset?
  24. This is the biggest load of rubbish that gets peddled over and over. For starters, there is more to the team being successful than the ‘fans getting behind them’. And by all accounts, the following faithful on Friday were doing their best to rally the team but not getting anything back from the team. It’s a two way street. And what entitled about wanting to see some effort, energy and fight from the team? Nobody is saying they expect us to win each week and turn everyone over. It’s about the core principles of Leicester sides from years gone back that haven’t been shown for a number of years. Even poor quality sides we have had in the past put the effort in and the crowd respond that. People like yourself need to realise, the frustration from supporters is not because we are not winning each week, it’s the manner in which we are playing and players visibly not looking bothered. It was the same last year and before that. We are soft and spineless and have a bunch of mercenaries representing us. The times of ‘Foxes never Quit’ and ‘Fearless’ are long gone.
  25. It is terrible for a side that’s supporters were awarding us the title by October and claiming we are the best side the league has seen. Clearly not. And as I said, with 8 to go. We will easily be in the double digits for defeats when the season is done which is what you’d expect for a team well off the automatic’s conversation. Very poor for where we were at the turn of the year. But yes, other managers must find Maresca quite hilarious as it is easy for them to set their side up against us now.
