Well that was humiliating.

Think a good team is more than the sum of its parts. Sometimes less technically gifted players just gel and what they produce together is greater than that of just fielding the technically most gifted 11. Thats where we sit with Winks. He's our most technically gifted player but for whatever reason his psychological attitude and persona is at present dragging the team down. We saw this before he was dropped. This year is a different time and context to the promotion under Maresca. It isn't personal or a determination that he shouldn't play. Just that he so evidently doesn't want to be here he's dragging the team down. It's obviously corrosive in the dressing room. What message does it give to the more junior players that a senior like winks wants out. I'm in the drop him camp.

I know he can't score but Daka doesn't slow the attack like Ayew and works better off the ball. I don't get this Ayew fetish. Bring Ayew on when if we actually score.

What a dire situation. Not really sure what the club want. We sold some of our best players. Managed a couple of loanees in. One was crocked early on. The other our best player and now also crocked. The third sent back for being rubbish. No Ndidi, Hermansen, Vardy or KDH. Marti was an ugly watch but is our team anything other than mid table championship? Look at our starting 11 it's hideous whichever group of deplorables you swap in especially at left back. If the board think we should be aiming for autopromotion with this car crash of a squad they are delusional. Next manager it will be the same rinse and repeat. Owners the problem. Find it all a bit bizzare really. Is that 4 managers in 2 seasons. What a joke of a club.

12/24 half-way through the season. Epitomy of a mid table championship club. Lets be honest would we really want to go straight back up with this squad? Rebuilds going to take several transfer windows.

Definite candidate for worst ever signing. We've had some poor players that were punts and didn't work out. This one we played Stella money for in the hope of European football and can't cut it in the championship. Over 100 appearance shows the staggering level of incompetence at the club. Nothing personal just objective observation of footballing ability.

We're not signing anybody in January. Only managed 3 loans in the summer window. Not sure the financial situation is going to be resolved. Will be 1 in 1 out if we are lucky and nobody wants our dross.

It's like a social experiment to see how much shame a group of fans can take before they crack completely. Had more enthusiasm for a funeral.

No definately wouldn't want to see us L1. Understand the sentiment about wanting a reset. Think best we stay in the championship and rebuild the squad over 3-4 transfer windows. It's going to take at least that long anyway for the dross to be out of contract. I actually think Marti would be good for that he seems to have an eye for a player the same way Puel did but actually managing the team seems a bit much for him in the same way it was for Puel. An old school manager with a Puel type director of football would be good at this point.

Passed out with shock at the point when he didn't trip over the ball so missed the goal. Checked several times as thought everyone was on the wind up but it's appears to be factually correct he scored. As he's a striker that plays for us and actually manged to strike the ball into the oppositions net he has to be our nailed on No.9 next match.

He's average at everything apart from actually shooting which he is just atrocious at. He does work hard though which is slightly endearing at the moment. A goal would do him so much good. Given the two other options just start him for a good run of games and see if he can get some confidence.

Yeah it would be good to see. I completely get the idea of having a strong bench so as long as we do see Mavs and Monga come into against tired legs but with plenty of time left in the game say at 55-60mins then I can be on board. If its James or Fatawu off though or something else conservative then I'm absolutely out and monga and Mavs should be starting from the off.

Have to agree AA was a painful watch but your right he was strong and made the right runs. Watching Carranza gives me a migraine.

Yes I agree, the point I was making is that we just don't have that quality in the squad available . Marti has dropped players but the players he has to then bring in are also rubbish. Switch to a back 3 still have to play bad players. Stack the midfield with 5 men. Still bringing in dross. Keep the same system still have to replace Thomas with VK. People keep saying this but what is this magical lineup and system? Would absolutely love to see it.

We could have prime Alex Ferguson but when Luke Thomas gets out muscled and Faes drops a clanger with Soumare strolling back from halfway line and his only options are to replace them with Victor Kristiansen who also gets out muscled, Skipp who can't control the game with the Daka attack up top it really doesn't make the slightest bit of difference does it.

Which players are out of contract in the summer? Sorry need something to cheer me up.

Yeah this for me. There was serious talk of an approach for Unai Emery when it was already too late. How different it could have been.

Before today we have played well at times. The squad needs major surgery. Marti picked James and Ramsey and they have both been two of the better players this season. Ramsey missing today was absolutely huge for us and it pulled James out of position and meant we had to put soumare in. Soumare who messed up the back pass. The option otherwise was skippy. We haven't got a striker and the Carranza loan looks to have not worked out but 2/3 loans working well isn't bad The squad is just too poor. An injury of two like Ramsey and we end up in a situation like today. Its an almighty mess caused by the board over several seasons. We could sack Marti but I just cannot see another manager improving us at this point. This is going to continue and be painful for another 3 to 4 windows untill we can clear the decks. We just have to trust someone enough with the process when the results are bad. Is Marti up to it. I just don't know. Is any manger?

Yeah the soumare thing gets me too.
