  1. Knowing Rudkin he has booked Ricky Martin by mistake!
  2. Probably should have worded it better. I want to see him playing and scoring for us next season but his influence on the rest of the team is worthy of a contract by itself.
  3. This...and Vardy running to the centre circle waving a contract extension while Rudkin is beaten from the stadium with a giant p45 pinned on a baseball bat.
  4. Big players do it when it matters and he really has led by example these last few games. Love the guy and I'm going to be in bits on Saturday. Keep him for next season just for his impact on the dressing room.
  5. I reckon he'll be better off with a half season loan to get playing time somewhere else. He's not going to develop much as a bit part sub in the premier league. Maybe Burnley would be interested.
  6. Thanks for the memories Jamie
  7. There’s plenty to spare
  8. I’m not sure if I’m enjoying the fact this is potentially promoting us as much as I’m enjoying the disappointment from the commentators that they can’t masturbate over Leeds at the moment.
  9. I think you've started the weekend early
  10. Oh shit, did I miss a trip to Wembley?
  11. Steady on. Ideally for me I’d like the promotion confirmed today and then Ipswich push us to need a win v Blackburn for the title. We go 2-0 down but recover with a second half hat trick from Vardy. Albrighton comes on with five minutes to go and gets the cherry on the cake with a brilliant individual goal dribbling from the edge of his own box and hammering in a 30 yarder . On the final whistle Robert Huth sprints onto the pitch and takes a free kick which goes so wide it hits Rudkin in the face and knocks him out cold. Rudkin is then brought to the centre circle to be awoken with a bucket of cold piss thrown on him and presented with a giant p45. The crowd cheers.
  12. I think you're right. Beginning of the season was almost like we were all on holiday in the Championship, then things got tighter and we realised we all need to step up. It's also helped the atmosphere in the stadium to have some jeopardy in place.
  13. I have come to the conclusion that Rudkin is actually a massive Forest fan and that’s why he is doing his best to destroy our club and looks pissed off when we score.
  14. It’s becoming increasingly clear that our success is inextricably linked to the greyness of Enzo’s beard.
  15. Where’s Ulloa when you need him?
  16. Blackburn haven't taken their full allocation apparently...check the website later if still looking for tickets. Members 15+ points
  17. Absolutely. And a plan c,d,e… so you can react to what’s happening. Simple example: if your inverted full back means the opposition keep targeting the space in behind and isolating the CBs consider using him as an overlapping fullback in the traditional sense and give them something new to think about. Especially if your fullback happens to be one of the best attacking fullbacks in the entire bleeding country.
  18. All Enzo needs to do is accept there is more than one way to play football and open his mind to the possibility of trying something different occasionally, dependant on how the match is going.
  19. While I agree with much of your post, Norwich weren’t made to look awful. They just were awful. Most insipid, timid performance from any team I’ve seen in years. Absolutely zero intent. Anyone that comes and puts us under pressure stands a great chance of getting a result.
  20. Wishful thinking at my age...
  21. I don't like his rigidity of playing style but think he can still come good. It's fine to hire an inexperienced manager with strong ideas of how he wants to play. You can't make it as a manager if you don't have belief in your way of doing things. But to do that I think you need the guidance of a real Director of Football with actual experience of the game who can offer some advice from time to time on how things can be improved and be a sounding board for the manager. We have no football people at the top of the club so to an extent the tail wags the dog.
  22. Farke has no reason being there. He’s achieving what would be expected with the resources available to him. Enzo shouldn’t be either, except for the fact that he oversaw a record breaking first half of the season. McKenna will win it and rightly so. Were it not for the record breaking start of Leicester it would have been Ipswich breaking records with a newly promoted side. What he’s achieved has been damn near miraculous (regardless of lucky deflected goals).
  23. That's my concern also. Especially as it will be done for appearance sake rather than any meaningful benefit to the club's finances. You could get rid of the £80k per week wages of one average overpaid player and have the same net impact as culling 100 staff earning £40k per year. p.s. Rudkin Out!!
