  1. https://www.skysports.com/football/video/30998/13356344/wolves-3-0-leicester-ruud-van-nistelrooy-speaks-following-defeat Unsure; I don't feel he would be making this up, for all his faults
  2. One of the worst, and most damaging players we've ever had.
  3. I don't even know why we've played him? What's the point?
  4. Agree - temporary smokescreen
  5. How much does he charge? Can he play up front?
  6. No kits, no merch. These clowns in charge don't deserve it.
  7. Also, they need to be starved out the club. Empty seats, week in week out, no merchandise/shirts, nothing. Anything within safe reason that costs the club money....
  8. 75k * 40 weeks odd = ~3 million quid for that goal return. Not including any bonuses etc obviously.
  9. Unless the kid is unwell or there are some personal issues, I don't see it. He chose to be a professional footballer, is paid insanely well, and can afford the best care or transport if needed. He chose to live where he lives, and join a club somewhere distance away. It doesn't seem too much to ask for a manager to ask for a little give and take in the circumstances the club were in.
  10. "Shortly after the 4–0 home defeat by Brentford, the agency of Wout Faes posted a highlights reel of the defender on social media describing him as “a master of anticipation”. It included footage from a 4-0 defeat at Everton"
  11. I completely agree. This is the main thing I took away, it's not hard to imagine that mindset has been adopted by so many. They mention coaches who have been there forever etc.
  12. What I'd say though is in my opinion, (so called 👀) guests who have those differing opinions or experiences are equally valuable...I think we could see perhaps what some people who have been or are, around the club, have a certain set of rose tinted spectacles (in the words of big Nige) on. Criticism of the guest on my part isn't a criticism of the episode and I think the way you handled it and questioned was really well done.
  13. He also seemed to be playing down a lot of the young lads. Why mention Ben Nelsons personal or on pitch issues (even in passing). For a loan manager, while he might be managing expectations, seemed very downbeat about any prospects. Is he viewing through the lens of his own experience?
  14. Jesus. I had to turn it off/fast forward. Prime example of the type of over familiar, 'jobs for the lads' persona who have been about the club for too long.
  15. I don't think I've ever felt so low about our club. I've been a supporter for 30+ years.
  16. I know this is probably hypothetical, but if Chelsea let him go he will have many better options than us. He's not a loyal or emotional type it seems, and he never had a connection with the fans so it's not like he'd have that pulling him back to us.
  17. Agreed. For his wages, there will be players of a similar quality (perhaps younger and higher potential or better) that we would prefer. 20-25 million for this player is obscene.
  18. Yeah; I was no fan of Cooper, but it's hard to see how it could have been any worse with him. Yes, Abdul etc. etc. and the usual arguments, but he had a way. Ruud, and it's not all down to him, has been terrible. But it's too late now, if we're going to sack him, it needs to be a considered selection for next season, not a gamble to try and stay up.
  19. Literally the closest kit we have to a kit clash. Can't even pick the right colours to wear. Unless it's to confuse West ham to pass to us ...
  20. I like how at the very end of the meeting notes is reference to a discussion around leadership and club strategy, as if it's a topic like the price of a cup of tea or location of waste bins. All respect to those in the trust with good intentions, what's the point in playing a rigged game where the club controls everything, even the release of the contents of the discussions how possibly can people want to get engaged with a fan group where there is no evidence of benefit or transparency? Why would I spend time in these meetings? I'd much prefer a much more direct and loud show of anger/frustration (non violent of course) than playing these games, that ultimately only serve so that current leadership can tick a box and pay lip service to "fan engagement" while taking home a wage. Let's make it so uncomfortable change has to happen. This will take too long and never achieve it.
  21. Appreciate some details can't be shared...but how is this known, are there any other stories?
  22. This is the worst for me. Supported since i was 6 or 7 (MON days) but context or what I can perceive or remember this is the most soulless. All subjective though isn't it. I mean at least we tried to change the game with Skipp coming on.
  23. It's also about the shape etc etc. (which I'm sure you know). By hook or crook good managers would find a way to scrape points. Park the bus, whatever. He's basically accepted relegation in that radio Leicester interview. I mean I agree with him on that, but only because he's thrown many games away.
  24. But he's tried the same thing over and over. Try something else!
