  1. Has to be this position in 4 games though!
  2. Poor mans David Luiz for me. He had great ability and poor on field attitude and always lost focus at crucial moments in a match. Too casual and needs dropping!
  3. The main changes. Would be Coady for Faes and Cannon for Daka. I would even swap Hermanson for Stolarcyk as I feel he’s better at crosses and shot stopping. I would also be ready with Albrighton and Vardy at 60 minutes should we be level or chasing the game.
  4. I said in the post match thread that we haven’t adapted our game throughout this season. Set pieces when you win them should be seen as an opportunity to score. We are bereft of ideas and quality at corners. At one down under O’Neill, Pearson or Ranieri I always felt we could nick an equaliser. Not now or even last season. Enzo panics at the thought of being counterattacked rather than the actual objective which last night was to equalise ffs.
  5. Millwall and Plymouth weren’t rubbish they beat us 1-0 with the object of the game to stick the ball in the net and prevent the opposition from scoring/playing. We play some nice football at times without creating chances. football matches are won in different ways and currently we have been found out. it started at Sheff Weds away, Both Ipswich games, Coventry away where they got under our skin and Leeds where we folded. The rest has been a shambles with no real shake up of the team. In football you have to adapt throughout the season. Last year we didn’t under Gucci belt and this year Enzo hasn’t either.
  6. Faes again for me, at Millwall he got caught in possession galavanting forwards. Last night he didn’t get across to the winger but instead backed off into our area and allowed him onto his right foot to shoot. A good defender gets across and at least take the man out to concede a foul. What has Coady got to do to get selected. Last time he played at Bournemouth we kept a clean sheet!
  7. I can’t believe that Coady can’t get a start with Sideshow Bob getting in ahead of him every week!
  8. 13 corners and not one found a Leicester head!!
  9. This is Parma Enzo! What did Parma do when he had 4 wins 5 draws and 5 defeats when promotion was what their owners wanted in their first 14 games? Sacked him.! He is currently on track to replicate that form in the last 14 games of our season.
  10. 100% - what a great analogy to describe us!
  11. It has developed into one of the most stressful seasons because up until two months ago the expectation was automatic promotion. That’s down to the Manager and players. Plus we are still all mentally in our own way dealing with last seasons ‘Too good to get relegated Gucci belt outfit’ The inevitability was I expected us to lose in a shit and horrible way at Millwall last night. It’s like I knew we would beat West Ham last game of the season but also knew Everton would sneak a win against Bournemouth. So the stress continues until it’s released by a win. Imagine the playoffs!! As my father in law says It’s the hope that kills you.
  12. Enzo you strike me as a man of intelligence , it’s not complicated, we need 15 points that’s it!
  13. Faes caught out again up the pitch led to our goal. Alright he may have been fouled but the ref wasn’t having any of it. Throwing your hands up whilst on the floor, get up man and compete for the ball!
  14. At best Tepid like the shirts they were wearing! They looked scared to make any mistake and took too long to pass as there was no movement in front of them. Plus they looked leggy! Thank goodness Leeds drew!
  15. For Leicester to win the next 3 and Ipswich and Leeds lose the next 3! That’s how I want it to end, No drama, just done!
  16. I agree start strong and stay strong throughout. Play on the front foot throughout and none of this sit off and allow teams back into the game bollox!
  17. A horrible place to go when they are scrapping for points as is Plymouth on Friday. We need 8&9 out of 10 performances throughout the team in these next two games. I wouldn’t change the team too much for Millwall as they will come at us early and are physical so for me keep the likes of Ndidi in from the start, Weather that storm, nick a goal and their crowd will turn.
  18. Yep at fault for the equaliser, but his sweeper keeping started the move that led to the winner. If he’s not patrolling further up the pitch as he does then it’s a foot race between Hogan and Faes. He also made an important save from a deflected shot at 1-1 that was spinning awkwardly.
  19. Man of the match and captains performance for me yesterday.
  20. It’s all about Money Laundering on a global scale. Hidden behind it all are some of the world’s biggest criminals or corrupt government officials. Football players and agents are the new untapped oilfields. Look at how Barcelona were bankrupted by Messi and his dad /agent. It says it all when PSG have a club shop in Oxford Street London, that hotbed of Parisian support selling Mbappe shirts at £80 a pop, ffs!
  21. Culminating in a synchronised Tennis ball ball protest like at Reading and Ireland to highlight our frustrations in towards English football and our hierarchy? I think the goal of supporters groups should be similar to the influence that German groups have towards their clubs. Getting a seat at the table is what’s needed. Look up the clip of the leader of the Darmstadt Ultra who gave their team a post match rollicking after they lost 6-0 at home. Imagine that last season following some of our poor home performances!
  22. I agree with you that modern football is done and I know that our owner is wealthy enough to invest from his own pocket and other investments and should be able to. I don’t know what a sound footballing business plan looks like that doesn’t play into the hands of the big 6 though. I believe in the footballing pyramid and that if Top wants a stellar signing and pay them accordingly then he should be able to just like Jack Walker did with Blackburn otherwise like you say they can roll up the rope ladder and you can never reach the heights of 2016 again
  23. Let’s not forget Maddison and Barnes were sold below market value due to relegation! Otherwise we would have had at least 10 million more from each sale to spread over the relevant seasons returns. Thanks. Lee and Brendan for your efforts on that front.
  24. If they don’t get culled then they need to bring in a fresh pair of eyes to educate and. Advise them on the dangers of modern Football and getting back on track with a sound footballing based business plan.
  25. Much better balance with Doyle on the left. His passing is much better than JJ, whether short or long. He is stronger in the tackle as well. To be fair JJ had a nice little cameo when he came in in the right and I prefer him further upfield and on the right.
