  1. I'm sure many have told you this before, but you're much safer on a plane then you are in a car. These stories make the news for a reason... they're not (by any stretch of the imagination) a regular occurrence.
  2. He looked genuinely hurt by that defeat. I don't think that there is anything wrong with that. I also think he knew that, although both Luke's were not up to it, it was him that let the side down. That miss before their 106 checkout was a big turning point. He'll be back and we'll be back next year!
  3. I think the season ticket part was a bit of made Sean from Enderby news… Solely because, if he was a ST holder, someone on here would’ve mentioned that they’ve seen him round the KP.
  4. He’s off to Southampton then is he? 😃
  5. Nugent, Cambiasso, King, Kasper, Morgan, Vardy are mine (born in 2000s)
  6. I quite like a bit of Kasabian before a match. Not only am I a fan of that sort of indie mucus, but it gets me pumped up proper. Not sure about Serge’s little poem though.
  7. Being in the end when Ayew scored from the corner against Southampton… wow. As a young(er) fan, that was probably one of the only last minute away goals I’ve seen us score live. The moment (after the long trip down to the coast, and being 2-0 down) - celebrating with my dad - will live with me forever. Fingers crossed for more moments like that in the future.
  8. And can't wait for when they play together in the world cup!
  9. Before the break it was pretty poor given the high bar the two have set. Second half felt like it were back to its free flowing best. Although the draft seemed to really annoy both of them. If that Littler 170 went in when it was 9-8, he would've won it 100%
  10. This is different because we see it quite literally every week in them prem (as supposed to once every few months in a grand slam).
  11. I’ve also watched this same game (Littler Humphries) about 20 times in the last year… 🙄 Leicester vs Forest isn’t special if it happens every week. Was secretly hoping for a Littler Aspinall final with Aspinall winning.
  12. A positive of the impending Russel appointment is that Braybrooke would slot quite nicely into his system. Either as a starter (less likely) or an understudy to Winks and Skipp.
  13. A Kop end is always behind a goal no? East stand is the stand that the cameras are in, lengthways to the pitch (not behind a goal).
  14. Tweets like this help you forgive that a bit.
  15. So: - Monga is Chelsea - Evans is Spurs - Page is Man United (as is KDH) Support your local team lads!!! These top 6 clubs don't need more supporters! This is the reason why I'm desperate for Alves, Braybrooke, McAteer and Thomas to succeed. They're one of us. These other boys are not. A bit more patience with Evans as I feel his relationship with the spuds could be a more of a 2nd team thing - he follows people like Lee on Instagram and doesn't follow spurs. Whereas the second United get a result, Page has something up on his Instagram. Would mind it a bit less if he did the same thing with us. But he doesn't.
  16. Cooper was too quick to properly gauge the fans’ reaction. Was never meant to be his. Was meant to be Potter’s job. But he was stalling for a good week if I remember correctly.
  17. I like him. This is his club and you can see he cares when he puts the shirt on, unlike many others in the first team, and some in the academy. Yes, this emphasizes how far we've fallen, where us as fans want players who give a shit (that should be an expectation - but oh well). Right now that's where we are i guess..
  18. They're going to turn back. They always do this. Push some feelers (rumors) out, see how negative the fanbase are, then go from there. Happened last time we got relegated.
  19. Don’t want him to be a manager. Managers always end badly and I wouldn’t want to see his reputation with us ruined. Would be much more open to him having a DOF role.
  20. I’m sure Kasper’s one of the ones who will come back to work at the club after his playing days are over. Either in a Birch role or as a coach like Kingy.
  21. I was sat in the Keith Weller yesterday. Right next to the former players and board. Previously, I thought that SK1/L1 chants couldn’t be heard clearly from the west stand — but I was wrong. Both sections were clearly audible and, at times, really loud. Just wanted to let those in those areas know: your efforts are absolutely being heard. I doubt many who sit in the west stand come on here (no offence meant — just my impression from what I saw yesterday), so this might be news to some. Top can definitely hear the chants — and has been able to since at least mid-February. So surely, it’s time for some change at boardroom level? Also noticed that when Top came out, the PA didn’t announce his name. Was that out of concern he might get booed?
  22. Why did he have to leave early do you know mate?
  23. Thought we’d at least sing his song a bit. I assume not many knew he was here which is why… And it didn’t help his name weren’t read out, or he didn’t come on the pitch (even though he wasn’t in the directors box at the end - only person in there was Rudders.)
  24. I know he was here today, but no mention of him by the announcer/no chants for him… And I don’t think he came out onto the pitch for some reason.
  25. Especially with safe standing and there not being a designated “section anymore”. Hopefully it’s not just the section making the noise but it flows down the kop and around the G1 corner.
