  1. SOOOO close to a perfext worst XI !! One Chelsea season later and probably Bruma would've been available with a crap rating. Edit: The average was at 71 at that point . I picked Mancienne to see how they would perform, expected 20th with an 84% chance of relegation
  2. It's happened several times now that I get the exact same team and season when I reroll. The chances of that happening should be 0,08% (1 out of 1292). I refuse to believe it's true RNG. I'm on a quest to assemble the worst possible LCFC XI now
  3. Been covered before, but I don't disagree. Different types of players. Technically I don't think there's much doubt about that statement. Izzet was glorious, but Tielemans is probably the most gifted I've seen in a Leicester shirt along with Mahrez. The regularity of his elite level screamers, the superb passes and the way he would dictate tempo alongside Maddison when we were a good side... Those first couple of seasons under Rodgers were the most pleasing from an entertainment point of view, IMO. Lennon and Izzet were probably better allrounders with their combative 'British' styles and will understandably be held in high regard by Leicester fans.
  4. I.e. surpassing South Korea's semi-final in 2002? I mean, that tournament obviously had many questionable/blatantly wrong decisions go in their favour, but I feel that's a big ask from Japan. I haven't looked at the draw, but getting out of the group will not be easy either. If Sweden find some mojo, they will be a threat. Tunisia are notoriously hard to beat too.
  5. The LCFC XI of the day is probably my worst yet. Good thing I was using the 'prime' ratings as it would have been even worse
  6. We won't really know until we know the extent of outgoing and incoming players, any potential point penalties and the leadership structure reshuffle. Something beyond the playing squad is clearly amiss, so a new manager will have a lot more on his plate in order to get results this season.
  7. Absolute Americanized trash again today. Had been taking a break for over a month from this, got reminded why I stopped in the first place.
  8. I think that we have to question whether any manager or squad can be successful with our current setup. Maresca could, with a very strong squad. But we've degraded a lot since then.
  9. Well you can do no worse than Dyche! Bit weird that you would be offered a PL job with no qualifications and no reputation in the English game. But the question is more whether you would like the Premier League FM experience? It's a far cry from South Africa
  10. The national FAs, the players, fan associations etc could all take a stand, but none of them do. TV stations have spent billions in broadcasting rights, there would be massive legal consequences cascading through the system and I'm sure FIFA would sue or expulse any FA that do anything of the sort. I'm not at all for more player power if it's done with greed in mind, but if they could apply more pressure on moral grounds I'd support it. FIFA has a history of corruption. Havelange before Blatter was notorious as well. It's just so repulsively blatant these days. You let Trump in the UK. A criminally convicted man. Double standards.
  11. Here's a non-European one, for giggles: Kasey Keller Yohan Benalouane Danny Amartey Sol Bamba Danny Tiatto Wilfred Ndidi Esteban Cambiasso Iain Hume Riyad Mahrez Shinji Okazaki Chris Wood Subs: Bilal El Khannouss Hossein Kaebi Tony Warner Momo Sylla Nobby Solano Tetê
  12. Try 3-5-2. I get consistently close. Have just made the third LCFC team of the day, so it's not that impossible. Best one of the lot! 5000-1? go home! (edit: expected 7th FTR)
  13. Haha, another LCFC XI, easily the worst so far, yet what a crazy overperformance! Expected 8th. 3-5-2 feels like the best formation to do the LCFC challenge.
  14. Still the only one I've got. Was well on my way to another with no rerolls at 7/11, then I roll the same Arsenal team twice and another Arsenal on the last try rigged!
  15. I built a 80-rated all-time top-flight XI and went 17-5-16 (56 pts) on 38-0 with Les Ferdinand scoring 21 ⚽ Can you go unbeaten? https://38-0.app/r/QfW7sKqD Went on Easy mode, but actually only used 1 reroll.
  16. Nice, that's more like it! Objectively, this result is probably another anomaly, but the performance trend is the important bit. A 10-rated performance is pretty rare outside of friendlies. Give that man a raise!
  17. Tbf, if you've grown up in war torn Somalia, you've likely been exposed to much worse than this both in terms of severity and in terms of corruption.
  18. Not much you can do when the opposing goalkeeper plays well. Seven times out of ten, you likely win that match. I wouldn't actually look too much at the failing attack here, it's an anomaly. Instead I would look at the defense here. How and why did you concede two goals despite your dominance? How can you prevent such goals? Then I would also be disappointed to not score from eight corners - as usual in FM, set pieces/corners can be manipulated to your benefit.
  19. I mean, Monaco came in for Faes...maybe pigs do fly!
  20. I think you've been blinded by the years of hype. I could easily turn it around and say that he got his chance in a side and proved no better (and arguably no worse) than the other options. I fail to see the PL potential and there certainly won't be any interest this summer unless Hull are looking to secure themselves a potentially good player for when they're back in the Championship.
  21. I'm not sure his potential is higher than top half Championship anyway. If he leaves, then best of luck. But he's one I'd thought would be delighted to finally get a chance to cement his place at a big club and build on that.
  22. If you can complete the Pentagon challenge within a few days ... It would take me years at my pace and available time
  23. I don't think I've ever played in Spain, but I imagine it's actually the top league with the biggest long-term challenge because of the way the economy is skewed in Real Madrid and Barcelona's favour. I enjoyed Italy as well in FM21, but it wasn't that hard. Germany, without it's restrictions and massive fan bases, means you can catch up to the big boys quicker IMO.
  24. Yeah, 7,5 years is pretty good going. Germany is fun, but Japan sounds more intriguing.
