At least the lad answering the phones had a sense of humour.

You heard the same about this being one of the big reasons about the dilly dallying on whether he'll stay on past next season or not? -

That's what I've heard from someone who's in the media, (albeit a runner on a rather controversial radio show) and that those answers last night to the media were pretty astounding and concrete. I think we all just want it to be over. EDIT: When I saw controversial radio show, I mean broadcaster. -

Walked. -
Last night there were rows of seats completely empty around me. There was a collection of a few 'thai influences' scattered in the area, who had obviously been given tickets for free. (Where I sit, it's been seen on 'printed' tickets may I add, not E-tickets that they have the word complimentary on them) We're at a club where they offered tickets for £25 for nurses and hospital staff, people that save lives and gave them out to free for people from Thailand with an instagram account. That is King Power for you.

The man who refused to sack him and take action earlier. The man who was obsessed with a vanity project. Top. -

Nothing screams more of 'I don't know what I'm doing' than picking 3 left backs.

It's either go or stay in and p*ss the wife off. I'll be there.

I think PSR kills it. Gone are the days of someone spaffing 50 mill on shit players like Robinho.

Think about Preston away last season and the party at Deepdale. Things can change in a season. Positivity can be built.

I think it's been an interesting debate. We all know that the players we've got haven't got the stomach or fight for it. Sometimes fight and togetherness can make up for a lack of quality.
-
You can see it as that, or you can see it as a clueless manager who has no experience clutching at straws to p*ss off the players for little reason arbitrarily. My argument about creating a culture at the club would be that Pearson and Ranieri did it by meals out, and creating a band of brothers attitude within the playing squad. I think it's fair to say that our lot respond so much better to this sort of thing. Ruud should have left months ago. Bloke's a poison.

I do see your point. Remember that Copenhagen trip was arranged by the club wasn't it/signed off by those at the top though. Those at the top of the club are allowing people to get away with it.
-
I agree there's a real terrible streak with the mentality of the players, but I do think that this culture is being set by those at the top. It's clear that our players need a huge amount of coaching and structure and they enjoy this, hence why Enzo did well last season. Think back to the scenes at Enzo's house as well. Winks especially relished playing under Maresca and absolutely loved it. I'm under no illusion next season if we get the right manager in, he'll be back to his quality.

There's a bit of a difference between pregnancy to when baby has just arrived. (Speaking from personal experience twice) I think there's bigger issues at play inside the club, well I know there is than Harry Winks refusing to stay in an 'arbitrary hotel' when he wants to be at home with his wife and their child.
-
They're being led by a donkey who's been put in the position to manage a Premier League club by an even bigger sausage. I don't blame them if I'm honest. Culture in any organisation is dictated by those at the top. (pardon the pun) People pull in the right direction when they're motivated, and go the other way when they aren't. The decision to bring in Ruud is the problem. Edit: Loving the debate by the way. (Not just saying this, I think it's pretty interesting to see different opinions on the matter)

I suppose you were one of the dafties calling for Vestegaard to be hanged, drawn and quartered when he brought his dog in. Some people give too much of a toss.
-
So many ridiculous takes about Fatherhood here. Bloke's wife has not long given birth. Have a bit of humanity. What is one night at the training ground going to achieve? What's Ruud planning? A game of soggy biscuit?
-
If anyone's ever met or had a chat with Winks you'll know that he's a good decent bloke. I feel a bit for him. Last season he was pivotal to our success. Managers should have really built around the Maresca foundations.

Bloke's just had a baby. Can't blame him from wanting to commute. Just show's you what a turgid bloke Ruud is aswell as a turgid manager.
