  1. Golding!!! I’d expect him and Braybrooke both to feature Maybe a week too soon for Abdul?
  2. Ah yes Joseph! Has Hutchinson been training with seniors this week? Not seen him on any footage, looks like the next one on the conveyer belt though, a talent!
  3. Well I’m assuming he means 20 outfield lads rather than 20 including GK’s?
  4. Stolarczyk JJ Aluko Ricky P Thomas Kristiansen Coady Nelson Okoli Winks Soumare Skipp Page Alves Monga Evans Mavididi Wanya Fatawu? Who are the other two ?
  5. Fair enough it’s all about opinion, I can’t see club going for him either tbh I think its Danny Rohl all day long especially with the timing of his alleged talks yesterday with SWFC We’ll wait and see
  6. He isn’t though is he One promotion with Sheff U Then took them to 8th the season after Last season without the points deduction they would’ve been right up there until the end, fell aways towards the end which would be a slightly worry for sure But a manager who’s been through the lower leagues, understands a football club and would get us competitive in games. We could do a lot worse!
  7. Rohl or Wilder for me Rohl’s the flamboyant exciting risk Wilder is the Championship top end proven Would back both to get the best out the squad, get the fans back on side and in particular Wilder, stand up the player power issue we’ve had for too long!
  8. It’s actually mental when you process just how young Monga actually is!!! He was in in Year 2 in Primary school when we won the Premier League & Year 7 when we won the FA Cup! He came up against Axel Tuanzebe when he came on against Ipswich, who’s TWELVE years older than him! Again to put that into school context when Tuanzebe was practicing for his GCSE’S, Monga had just left nursery! And for that last 30 minutes he took him for a walk down that left hand side! Serious talent!
  9. Pre season plans or Polo? 🤔
  10. One way to RM to get the fans onside, bring his own DOF with him
  11. Can’t remember him scoring for us And equally I can’t remember him protecting the back 4 at any point Just in Limbo for his career here, always seemed to be 10 yards too high or deep and when he played so many players got into the pockets behind him! Probably had his best spell just before Qatar World Cup when he played a bit deeper behind Tielemans and KDH - but even then he always looked too lightweight and lethargic! Ironically he’ll probably go back to France in a slower less high tempo league and rip it up but one we should definitely be getting money for and getting out of the door.
  12. Jury’s definitely out and understandably so given his record In PL this season & potential long winded/slow playing style, Southampton really struggled at the start last season and they got better and better as the season went on - the problem being here he won’t have the fanbases patience if he gets off to a sub-par start! One potential positive is it looks like he’ll get a whole Summer and pre-season and hopefully one more local than in previous years!! He threw 18yo Dibling into PL football this season so hopefully he’d be as brave with our youth which is key to the next appointment! Have to back the youth and give them opportunities!! It sounds like he won’t adapt away from his plan A and will just try to make it better, we can just hope that in the time taken out of the game he’s had time to tweak elements of his plan else we’re in for a long watch for 46 games!
  13. #Welcome Martin it is then Absolutely screams of a ‘i’m leaving tomorrow’ starting 11
  14. Rather than directing the song at Ruud being a clown ( which I can’t disagree with from a manager perspective) why don’t we change the lyrics to the board.. Minus points in the championship… And then couldn’t give a f****** s***… Theyre a bunch of clowwwwwwns Top, Whelan, Rudkin Could even change ‘minus points’ to minus *insert number here*
  15. Was luckily enough to be in Wembley- people forget how heavy odds on Chelsea were to win, we were 3/1 to win in 90 minutes- £20 on that just added to the day! Just seemed to be written; Wembley Way was full of Leicester, didn’t hear their fans all game (probably preparing for UCL final) and even when Ch*lwell scored I still had the feeling that something was wrong with the goal! Stood next to and celebrated with my dad and then visited my now late grandad the next day to show him pictures/videos and give him the programme I’d l brought him A day I’ll never forget!
  16. ‘You’ll live and die, you’ll live and die in this league! Ain’t played in the top flight for 25 years now! ‘ 🎶 Looking forward to Cov away already! 😂
  17. I’d play him for the rest of the season, He’ll be one of the top CM’s in the Championship next season, which says a lot about to ever widening void between the leagues. He’s not been as horrific as people have made out when he’s played, however the bars been incredibly low!
  18. I’d genuinely rather see a 2-3 Southampton win today with Vardy x2 to get him to 200 than a 0-0 draw Am I the only one?
  19. Few light hearted songs for Saturday ’Southampton, we’re waiting for you’ ‘We’re 19th in the Premier League, we shall not be moved’ ‘How s**t must you be, we’re still above you’
  20. Wolves fans begging him to ‘come home’ Finger's crossed 🤞🏻never want to see him wear the shirt again.
  21. ‘Southampton, still waiting for you’
  22. We’re 19th in the premier league We shall not be moved 🎶
  23. I’ve tweeted it but imagine Vards sitting there in the changing rooms looking next to him where Big Wes used to sit and seeing Jordan ******g Ayew Looking across and seeing Wout Faes in Riyad’s old seat & Soumare in Ngolo’s He must be spewing!
  24. People forget that Thomas first spell was in the team that were challenging top half Prem, he held his own for a while and then got taken out for Castagne I think before JJ and Ricky P’s massive injuries left us no choice to play him when we got relegated first time around. Yes he was the weakest link and confidence got massively knocked! But he’ll be more than good enough for the Championship
  25. His tifo pre-game and then him and Albrighton dancing along to ‘I predict a riot’ in front of the Kop should’ve been the happy peaceful end for him last season. It’s so sad watching him jogging in between centre backs and pressing on his own! One of the saddest things about this club recently is how our legends have bowed out - Schmeichel out the back door along with Kingy amongst others and now our greatest ever modern day legend being part of our worst season for some time! The whole thing is so sad
