I've been lurking on here for years. It's not naivety. We're at what we hope is our lowest ebb as a club, an absolute shambles, but you might have noticed we don't actually have any effect on that. We can spend our lives going over and over negatives or we could look for whatever gaps in the clouds we can find while we wait to discover if there's any chance of a turn of trajectory. The naivety is believing your online negativity has any use.

Well at the time, the right wing rags screamed about it as it was an effective tax haven they were losing. It was only ever going to affect a tiny number of farmers, if any. It was written so that there was million pound coverage for farm equipment etc so it's a pretty huge value attached to an actual working farm before inheritance tax kicks in. Unfortunately, the right wing rags are quite good at whipping farmers up by lying to them. I guess we'll see in time but the move was targeted at those avoiding tax, is working so far apparently, and I'm try to see any headlines about actual cases of real farms being lost due to inheritance tax.

Jesus Christ can we stop moaning just for a bit? We actually won our last match. Like it or not Martin is here. He's not getting sacked any time soon. He's had about 6 real matches so far with very mixed performances and results. We know about the style. But he's at least willing to drop players and is fieldinga bunch of youngsters. At the moment it's pretty much impossible to look at anything happening in the world with positivity. Social media and algorithms are making all our lives a misery by endlessly promoting the bad. Given that lots of the offshore tax havens in use are British, the government simply needs to introduce an immediate 5% tax on all trusts, accounts and assets over £1m in value, and also impose an immediate 5% tab on any assets offshored from the UK, including said tax havens.

Got to give credit to Martin for changing things, bringing in experience through the spine. Whether you like the guy is irrelevant, he's made changes that are working.

Interesting. Maybe trying something slightly different. Brought in experience through the centre. Whatever the rights and wrongs of his tactical approach, wet do now have a manager willing to make calls and changes which we've been crying out for over a long time. Feel like he can't really win ATM, desperately needs to start getting results.
