  1. The experienced professionals we should be aiming for should be in the 26-28 age range, not 32+. We need athleticism and power, not wrecked legs
  2. I absolutely want to see only youth players on the pitch for the last two games
  3. I'm well aware of that, hence me not making any wider point from what I said. The single point I was making it that in the narrow confines of employed taxation, reality doesn't really fit with what people think. No wider point or extrapolations are being made.
  4. I'm not arguing that one way or other. You may well be right. But there's definitely an online narrative around earned taxation and starmar that doesn't currently hold true - though I take the point @Robo61 has made that it may look different by the end of the parliament with incoming changes. There's positives and negatives as the economy is a complicated beast. I've focused on one measure and an not extrapolating to the wider economy in what I wrote.
  5. Saw some statistics around taxation of earned income and was surprised. And I'd expect others would be too as it's certainly not the narrative being pushed. 2029-2024 was the fastest increase ever in taxation of earned income. Sunak reduced this at the end through NI changes which actually meant it dropped down to be the lowest tax take from earnings for many decades years. While it has risen slightly under labour, starmar has the second lowest level of taxation of earned income since Harold Wilson.
  6. Not a clue but I bet she looks great naked

  9. Thracian as assistant manager
  10. We really need to plan early now. Look for the best young manager coming up through the leagues and look for the best young players either on loan from big clubs, or one or two year deals from the football league. Start from scratch. We won't, of course, it's going to be a horror show.
  11. Buy one half price, get ten free would be better for us
  12. He was recently our loan manager wasn't he?
  13. I've always wondered if there's an official word for people from Leicester. My favoured choice is "Leicesteronians' as I think that was an in-built custom team in Sensible Soccer back in the day.
  14. I don't want to see any of our current players next season, apart from youth ones.
  15. Struggling to care tbh
  16. Away days at Exeter and Plymouth
  17. I might be wrong, but I suspect there's probably no such thing as 'failing' vetting. In exactly the same way as that's no such thing as a footballer 'failing ' a medical. It's a determination of risk. If a club really wants a player they might accept more risk around potential future injuries. If a prime minister really wants an ambassador, civil servants might deal with risk in a different way to enable the appointment. It may well not al be a yes or no issue in the first place. Though if it isn't, you'd think starmar would have said that. But then he isn't the best communicator it turns out.
  18. Dominic Cummings was never vetted at all. Whether starmar should go or not, tbh I don't really care either way, it's not a story I've followed that closely but I'd be very happy with Burnham finding his way in, though not sure how that could happen in the required timeframe. This is very much just politics playing by opposition parties though. Plenty of previous appointments without vetting or with vetting issues that they ignored in government but somehow now it's a really big deal. I don't really buy it tbh. Whatever the outcome for starmar, I'm far more interested in the government finding a way to communicate effectively with the electorate and to make some decisions that affect cost of living in short order.
  19. Haven't seen it but I have seen it hasn't gone down well. If he's going to go down for it he might as well go down swinging and point out the Boris Johnson also failed to pass security vetting but was still made foreign secretary. Apparently that's less important than an ambassador.
  20. Where can I find the pod? Just on BBC app?
  21. It's a funny one with Rodgers. He brought congerton and a number of awful signings in. In his last season he clearly wanted out, let schmeical go, refused to play our best defenders, and was responsible for the relegation. At the same time, in his first couple of years he took us from a boring midtable team with potential to fighting for top 4 and an fa cup. And both of those seasons for 2/3rds of the season we were fantastic - the best football team Leicester have ever had apart from that one untouchable season. A tale of what might have been, almost was, and it's wrecking.
  22. Or simply not got rid of schmeical
  23. What was Enzo's feedback?
  24. Well currently Plymouth and Exeter are both in league one so that would make a couple of away days easy from here. Though Plymouth are currently just outside the playoffs and Exeter are in the relegation zone so even that might turn to shit as an idea.
