I think they're genuinely worried. Look at some of the majorities Labour overturned in by-elections over the last couple of years: Wellingborough (Peter Bone) was 21,000 Tamworth (Chris Pincher) was 20,000 Mid Bedfordshire (Mad Nads) was 25,000 Or Lib Dems: Somerset and From (Neil Warburton) was 19,000 Tiverton and Honiton (Tractor Porn) was 25,000 over Labour; 28,000 over Lib Dems Obviously they were by-elections so turnout was very low, so they just assumed these were outliers and that the national polls would narrow closer to the election. It's pretty clear now that the mood has changed in the country. They could genuinely be facing less than 100 MPs and looking at the demographic change, decades out of power. They're panicking and terrified and we haven't even got into full-on election mode yet. Starmer has been playing it very safe and has done very well with it so far. Even Sunak's seat's boundary has changed and could be vulnerable. Quite literally NO seat is safe.

Having a proper struggle the last few days. Really struggling to get this script done despite knowing it could change my life. I'm already a month over the deadline and I'm supposed to be handing in a second draft on the 10th. External events are really not helping. It was my aunties funeral last week after a full 6 weeks of waiting. My dad lost his sister a month after his lifelong mentor and his best friend of 65 years (one of my best friends too) 18 months ago. All cancer but two of them very sudden and very shocking. He's just not himself; doesn't want to do anything or go anywhere. Grief is just hanging over the entire family at the minute. I'm really struggling to lose weight too. Working out really well with my PT at the gym but can't back it up with exercise as injured my Achilles about a year ago and the physio is £60 a pop. Would go to the docs about it but my surgery is a basket case - I've not seen him for 4 and a half years. I've been looking forward to this summer for so long as I have a stag do, a couple of big gigs and a wedding in Latvia but my employer let me down last minute on Friday so it's going to be an extremely tight one and I may have to drop something. Just feels like one thing after another, and I can't seem to stabilise my mental health long enough to focus on finishing my project but there's so many constant distractions, plus the twat side of my brain telling me I'm no good at it and there's no future in it. Just ****ing volatile and constantly wondering if I should have gone back on my meds a month ago. Ugh.

Even if you want to be really sympathetic about the situation - Rudkin has actually done some cracking business over the years - in December he would have been in the job for 10 years. He's achieved a lot in that time and thank you Jon, genuinely. But it's time for a change. It's time for some ambition in the boardroom. Villa went and nabbed Monchi after he'd delivered 5 Europa Leagues in 10 years and now they're in the Champions League. It's time for Top to show aggression and ambition.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

This is where us and Everton's situations couldn't be more different. Everton are a financial basket case and have been for years. They've had unstable ownership while circling the drain for a decade. We've not actually been in any financial trouble during this whole thing. We HAD stable ownership, were an ambitious club with the means and talent to achieve those ambitions and quite literally were starting to succeed. It's just that the rules changed at the same time we were wrongly denied Champions League football twice. -
He's too busy trying to find another achievment for his leaflet.

First a sinking ship now a relegated club

Deflated, but also defiant. And I hope Top is ****ing apoplectic enough to replace Rudkin and show some ambition off the pitch, as well as take the Premier League on in the courts.

Our cooperation with the Premier League has been so exemplary we've actually helped them understand their own rules on multiple occasions. We should get a points bonus just for that. -
Chelsea have an opening. He should go there.

I'm honestly half convinced he's going to try pretending he was doing a Joaquin Phoenix thing when the money runs out.
