Or that no-one is coming in and everyone's being sucked in by these clickbait merchants on Twitter circulating unfounded nonsense.

2 or 3 mins before he went off he was clearly getting the hump at being double teamed all night, was waving his arms about and slapping his thigh in frustration. It might be the hair, he's cut it short and lost his footballing powers Daft as it sounds, you can't ignore it when a teenager is taking your place, getting the songs and the names on kids shirts and has now bagged a goal and assist already.
-
There was one point where his shirt was being pulled off his back and the foul went against him. The ref was pretty apalling even for this level but even mild-mannered Patson looked ready to blow.
-
That's what I've just put in the other thread. The with the rail seting now it feels like a bigger section, more people join in and the Rudkin song spread down the stand
-
For all your pics, he was having his name sung a fair bit all night. At one point he had 5 men round him and still came away with the ball. I've been his biggest critic but if he does well I'll say so. Still not having it with Soumare though
-
As someone who sits in H it's been much louder in the first two games and that's clearly through G and the rail seating making the section feel bigger and more involved. The I Don't Care About Rudkin spread into our block too

This side is a number 9 short of a guaranteed top 2 finish again. As much as I'd worry about too many more Preston performances we just need a presence in the box or a finisher to guarantee enough goals. Page still looks nervous but will come good with more games, The defence didn't have too many issues and looks as solid as 2 years ago. Solid performance tonight showing just how average some of this division's favourites will be. -
Must've watched a different game, he wasn't even bothering with the stretches in the warm ups but he's always going to look better at this level anyway. Would've given Ayew or Hamza MOTM tbf. Ayew had some great touches and Hamza bailed Okoli out all night as well as keeping Gray quiet.

Thought this would be the season when him and Alves would break through, might still be. He'll be needed when AFCON comes round.

Oh this is isn't new, just recycled. But I'll be sure to let you know when new triggers appear. -

Oh my God, the Fanzone. Not sure what's worse, the stalls of over-priced slop or the CBeebies presenters on stage "did anyone see Fatawu's dance after the goal he did?!" If there's anything that sums up the absolute state of this club right now..... We're one step away from Mr Tumble announcing the teams. -

The days of us turning up a Maddison, Maguire or even an unknown Algerian winger from the French peasant leagues are long gone. Our last exciting signing was Fatawu and he's been a rare gem in the last 5 or 6 windows of deadwood crap. -

A 10-0 hammering doesn't change the fact we haven't got a pot to do a wee in and most of our incomings have been used to pay off loans and keep our arse out of the fire. No-one is coming in. This is it. -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

It was never on. After that first season with Sven and buying the likes of Matt Mills and paying silly wages for Vassell etc they've only ever re-invested tv and transfer profits. Not being able to take out loans as regularly might actually help us stop paying crap players massive wages. -

You're so harsh. Remember his lung-busting run down the line against Wednesday? Worth a contract extension alone. -
A real story of rising through the ranks too. A massive Rangers fan, he started off as a steward on the Fox Travel coaches in the 90s. Quite a concern though that there's pretty much 1 guy at the club capable of being helpful and getting any credit for his work.

I just don't see it. His numbers aren't that good and there weren't enough match winning performances to be interesting clubs, especially Villa and Spurs chasing top 6 finishes. Leeds and Sunderland have bought plenty in now and Wolves won't have a spare 30m without selling anyone and getting a deal done rapidly. I mean they're talking about Garnacho going to Chelsea for about 35m. If we get big money for him, great, but I'd be pretty surprised if he's moved by Monday now. -

Fofana, Mahrez, Drinkwater......it's the agents and these stupid kids give them a 20% cut for the advice. -
Victor Kristiansen (an option for Forest, Percy.)

On the flip side, Callum Doyle wasn't an LB, Ricky had never played as a 6 and Ndidi wasn't an 8. They all did well in their positions and didn't run off to a farmer's league to stat pad. -
Even though I have burning hatred for this guy, how has he gone from first choice for England, winning the UCL to Palace and now Cov? That's an insane spiral in less than two years.

Great. The Burkinians or Fasians whatever they're called can do battle with Hamza's mob on the socials. Even Marti's forgotten him.

I'm not convinced they were ever interested. If you want a player the deal will happen pretty quickly. It's been weeks of "negotiations" but it's not like a middle east peace deal. One side makes an offer, the other rejects/accepts. That sort of thing - with modern comms - should take minutes or maybe hours. All this transfer gossip column rubbish about preparing bids and lining up an offer is just word salad. -

Rodgers said the other day he's not leaving. Joked about the stress being too much last time. The big rumour is Postecoglu because he's worked for him before. VK defensive positioning is so bad he'd be right at home in an Ange set up.
