Keeping Burnley up for a bit was great work but he did nothing at Everton - arguably made them worse - and if you listen to Forest fans on various phone ins he's turned the Nuno top 6 side into dull, goalshy plodders who are giving West Ham hope of staying up. In that respect Marinakis might just sack him and make him available. He'd also be disapppinted if he wanted to walk into a club and find a group of players willing to put a shift in.

Management-wise maybe but player-wise you look at your potential team mates, the club situation - debt, deductions, no promotion prospects - and whether you'd be retained long term and we're looking shaky on all those fronts.

I'm not even raging at Ayew at this point, just the people that bought him and left him as our only option up front He's been a limited player throughout his career, rarely a regular just workmanlike sub to close out games. Yet he's ended up being our only option. We ditched Vardy with no credible replacement. And if you're Andy King needing a quick fix when the only other player in that position is Patson bloody Daka, you'd play him too. Kingy's probably just as pissed he's in this position.

About as far apart as they could be. Stowell's at Plymouth. Sadler was last seen at Celtic but not sure if he's still there after all the changes. Given the bizarre 3-4-3 they tried in their one game in charge, lets never speak of them again.

Season 1 and 2 Brendanball was great. We werent moaning about sideways and backwards until that season after the cup. It was Puelball that was worse. Enzoball got far more criticism but we were a mile ahead of the whole division anyway. I don't even know what Marti's style of play was even now. We didnt press, we didnt sit deep, the passing was too erratic to be called a possession team.

I'd accept it because its Kingy but still scarred by the Stowell/Sadler thing. Still have the idea that had Top not been here on Saturday, Marti would still be in charge. There's been no planning or strategy with anything else at the club so why would this be different. At this stage they have no better idea on a new boss than we do.
